Episode 12b: Grinding Noises

Episode description: During school, it begins to snow. While waiting for the snow to accumulate, the students of Class 5-2 become involved in a debate over the meaning of a childhood nursery causing them to be the last outside.

'Enjoy.'

It was cold day at school. The students were in the classroom keeping warm. The guys saw it had began to snow.

"It's finally come, hasn't it, Ryouta?" Kouji said.

"Yeah. We've been waiting all this time." Ryouta replied. "The typhoon that left along with our dreams that autumn day!"

Tsubasa, Asahi, Takumi, and Kenji sobbed a little, remembering about that.

"What now?! Our dreams have returned once again!" Ryouta said, in confidence.

"Yeah!" The guys all said, in unison.

"What's happening, guys?" Morro asked, as he, his sister, and her boyfriend walked over.

"It's snowing! What do you guys think we should do?" Ryouta explained.

"Of course, the standard snowball fight!" Asahi replied.

"A giant snowman!" Takumi said.

"A snow hut!" Tsubasa said.

"Those all those sound fun!" Dillon said.

"Mmhmm." Stella nodded.

"Alright! Let's go!" Ryouta said.

"Wait, Ryouta!" Kouji said. "Calm down and take a good look at the courtyard."

"What are you talking about? Just as we're getting to the good part." Ryouta said, as he looked down outside.

"Ryouta, did you realize...?" Kouji said. "There's not enough snow. If we go out now, the snow will melt instantly and become all mushy!"

"Speaking of which, sometimes when you make a snowman..." Asahi said.

"It becomes all mushy sometimes." Takumi said, finishing Asahi's sentence.

"Exactly." Dillon said, agreeing with Asahi and Takumi.

"Guys! The other classes are still waiting!" Jun said, coming into the classroom.

"Basically, what's important is the timing, right?" Ryouta said. "If we go out too soon, the snow will become all mushy. If we go out too late, another class will occupy the field."

"Yeah. Thankfully, me and Stella just let our mom and dad know when the timing is right." Morro said.

"Mmhmm." Stella said.

"My brother and I always wait so patiently for enough snow to build up before going out to play." Dillon said, holding Stella in his embrace warmly.

The girls were also excited for the snow. They were watching from their desks.

"I wonder if there'll be more snow?" Chika wondered.

"Even though I don't like cold weather, the snow covered landscape is pretty, so I hope there will be more!" Megumi said.

"Me too. Right, Nastumi-chan?" Yuki said, as she was a bit shocked to see Hirikawa changing into her gym clothes.

"Of course, I'm looking forward to it!" Hirikawa said, pulling her shirt over her stomach.

Yuki yelped in fear, as Dillon, Stella, and Morro saw this too and got worried.

"Yuki, get her shirt down!" Morro said, worried.

"Jeez, what are you doing?" Yuki said, rushing to Hirikawa pulling her shirt back down.

"Well, our PE clothes won't get wet no matter how much we jump into the snow, right?" Hirikawa said.
