I don't have to do anything special to get together this Saturday night. The guys spontaneously agreed to spend time with us, which is surprising, since Phil has been away for days, and he is the glue that holds Vincent and me together.
I'm a little nervous, remembering Vincent's prank yesterday. Luckily, he didn't text or call me. I needed a bit of silence: I am so glad to finally find out he is in love with me, and right now I don't want any drama.
I feel that Vincent is about to arrive, I feel in my gut that he is already on his way. So, I drag Adriana out of the house. I sit down at the table on the terrace, and Adriana is standing opposite: she is telling me how her son was nicely smeared from head to toe today while eating chocolate.
I wince when I hear the approaching sound of a sportbike and my heart skips a beat because it's Vincent.
Oh my God.
Fear binds from the inside, but I'm scared not because today I have to part with Ricky, but because this will untie Vincent's hands.
And mine.
I don't know what will happen if I spend more time alone with Vincent. Will I be able to subdue my desires? Many times we have been one step away from sex and, to be honest, I have already drawn in my mind how this will happen. And most importantly, I'm ready. I am definitely ready to go through all the stages of approaching Vincent in a short time. This thought makes me tremble.
A phrase that Vincent shouted out yesterday flashes through my mind. "I fell in love with the craziest girl in the world." I squeeze my eyelids shut in embarrassment.
Adriana says something funny and I start laughing out loud to get Vincent's attention.
He walks up to us and I groan: Vincent is dressed in a black T-shirt and jeans, and a jacket hangs on his shoulders. After yesterday's thunderstorm, today's weather has cooled a bit. Adriana and I greet him, and he places a bottle of rum on the table next to me, as if indicating that he has fulfilled his end of the bargain.
Ricky is not around, and I freely exchange a few phrases with Vincent and laugh at his jokes, ignoring the sidelong glances of Adriana.
"Did you decide to pump me up today, womanizer?" I point to the bottle.
"You don't have to touch it at all, I'll still get what I want," Vincent's plump lips say with a smirk, confidently, while my jaw practically drops.
His blue eyes penetrate my face. I feel like he can see right through me, as if reading my thoughts.
Adriana holds her breath, apparently unwilling to break the tension.
I'm ready to go, but still, I cut him quickly:
"It depends on what exactly you want to get." I grin, wanting to make it look like it's just a joke to Adriana.
"You'll find out later ..." Vincent uses a serious voice, like he doesn't want to play along. It's hypnotizing, and I am ready to do whatever he requires from me.
The door of the house opens as Vincent takes a step towards me, and Ricky, my brother and Lewis come out of the house.
"... if no one gets in our way." Vincent says in a half-whisper and steps towards the guys.
I hear Vincent ask my brother where we will hang out, inside the house or on the terrace. I jump off the table, and Adriana stares at me with a smirk on her lips.
I try not to notice it, but I accidentally meet her eyes, and this serves as a trigger.
"What were you two talking about?" She screeches.
