The next day, I go to Ricky's Instagram. Just out of habit. He hasn't been online for a long time, I know that. I like that about him, he has never been addicted to social networks. I look at the main photo of his profile, where we are together. From the photos on his profile, you can easily think that we are the happiest couple in the world. I haven't deleted the photo of him yet either, and for some reason I don't want to rush into it.

I turn on the search, and my fingers type Vincent's name. I quickly find his profile and scroll through the photo. We only saw each other a few hours ago, but I already miss him. Curiosity overpowers, and I go to the page of his girlfriend. Since Vincent appeared in my life, jealousy has become my faithful companion. Strange, but neither he nor she has any photos of them together. Not a single one.

Suddenly a message arrives and I startle.

This is Vincent.

God, this guy is too stubborn, I told him not to write to me. The message has the song he played last night. I press the phone to my chest, because my heart flutters that Vincent finally found my profile and wrote.

Almost immediately he drops another song and I thank him. We start discussing tracks. And he calls me. Crap. For some reason, I do not have the courage to answer the phone, and my heart rises right up to my throat.

Vincent calls a second time.

I go outside and, lighting a cigarette, answer the phone.

"Yes." I speak briefly into the phone.

"Hey," I hear his smile.

"Why are you calling?" The calm did not last long.

"Because I missed you."

These four words spoken by Vincent, and I melt like ice cream in the hot sun.

"Are you not at work right now?"

My heart sinks when I think that Vincent might show up any minute. I'm not ready.

"If I wasn't at work right now, I would be with you."

Well, of course. He would.

"What a voice! Just wow!" I exclaim.

He is laughing.

"I'll come to you soon."

"I'll treat you to dinner. I have marshmallows today."

"Damn, that's a dope plan: dinner, marshmallows, and you."

And I love it when he says that!

"I can seriously fall in love without looking back because of your voice." I'm making a mock threat.

"I thought you were already in love... hmm... like that, you mean?" he says with a smile. I hear him smile. I seem to be able to imagine what kind of facial expression he says depending on how his voice sounds.

"I meant that I fall in love even more."

I bring my middle finger to the bridge of my nose and pretend to adjust my glasses to calm my nerves.

"I want to eat you, right now," he whispers, and I close my eyes, "and another cigarette." he continues in a mischievous voice. It turned out that I know this intonation well. In general, every intonation of his voice. It's amazing, I can imagine the look on Vincent's face when I hear him speak.

I laugh, choking on the smoke.

"Will you be free there soon?"

"I'll be leaving soon."

"Well, see you then."

I hang up without letting him say anything.

Time passes, but Vincent is gone. Why so long? It's almost eight o'clock in the evening, and he's still gone. Has he decided not to come today? But he said he would come. He would tell me if he changed his mind. I keep looking out the window excitedly to see if Vincent has come. I can't find my place. Our time is running out, and he's not even in a hurry. I sit on the terrace and stupidly wait, counting the minutes. I twist the phone in my hands, but I do not dare to call.
