The next evening, I'm sitting at my house with Marina, the radio is playing in the background.

"How are things going with Vincent?" she asks, looking at her new manicure. Her long bright pink nails.

"I don't know. Yesterday he confessed his love to me. And I didn't say anything in response."

"Cool!"

"I don't know what I should do now. He is so attractive, and at the same time, the plan to "come to London" is so unbelievable!"

Marina, opening her long eyelashes, looks at me with her skeptical look.

"Relax, you need to distance yourself from Vincent, this man is possessing you."

We are interrupted by our phones, which begin to vibrate almost simultaneously on the table. We reach for the phones and then show each other the screens: Phil calls her, and Vincent calls me.

We laugh.

"To hell with them!" I say as I switch my phone to airplane mode.

"Yes! Today is girls day, fuck those guys!" Marina laughs in agreement.

"So," I sigh, looking from the phone to Marina. "What's the plan?"

Marina, narrowing her eyes and resting her chin on her fist, looks at me thoughtfully.

The radio advertises the summer fair in Sitges, which takes place in the city all week.

Marina looks at me slyly, and I smile back. We burst into laughter again, we don't need to speak: we just nod conspiratorially at each other.

In a few minutes we are already at the fair, full of neon lights, people, noise...among rides and bars.

"Damn, Marina, this is exactly what I needed today!" Spreading my arms to the sides, I spin around my axis under neon lights.

"Let's go to the bumper cars!" Marina pulls my hand towards the bumper car ride.

At the autodrome, I drive a car, and Marina sits next to me as a passenger.

"Let's crash into cars with sexy guys and smile at them," she playfully suggests.

"Let's!"

Marina chats and playfully shows me all the sexy guys on other cars.

I make eye contact with at least half of all these guys. How pretty they are!

"See? Full of guys! Hit those! They are so hot!" Marina screeches, pointing to a car coming to our right.

I make eye contact with this brown-eyed handsome man behind the wheel, whom Marina pointed out, and he smiles at me with one corner of his mouth.

I bump into them and we laugh out loud.

"Is this a declaration of war?" Shouts the second guy with green eyes.

"All life is war. Are you ready for a deadly match?" I scream back.

"As you say, baby." Shouts brown-eyed.

"She's not a baby, she's a devil!" Marina yells and bursts into laughter.

My feelings are like a bone was inserted across my throat.

"Let's get you out of your hell, devil!" The brown-eyed one tells me.

I smirk and move to the side and turn to them.

Brown-eyed and I look into each other's eyes. Five seconds later, we hit the gas at the same time and hit each other at ridiculous speeds.
