[The Cade Household]

The doorbell rang, sending a shiver down Mrs. Cades spine. She threw her cigarette out the window, show time.

"Jonathan! Get. Down. Here." She called, while walking to the front door, checking how she looked in the small mirror by the coat rack in the process.

She  put on her biggest smile, and opened the door.

She was met with Mrs. Curtis, and her two boys.

"Hello! So great to have you over, come on in." She said with a large smile, her most welcoming smile in her opinion.

"Lovely to meet you Mrs. Curtis." Mr. Cade said as he walked out of the kitchen, putting his hand out, Maryanne gladly shook it, trying to ignore the smell of alcohol.

"Oh please, call me Maryanne. This is Pony, and Soda." Mrs. Curtis, or Maryanne, said with a smile.

"Oh they must be around our sons age, Jonathon." Mrs. Cade smiled, while resisting the urge to scream his name.

Just in time, Johnny came down the stairs, dressed in what he would call 'good clothes', aka, Pony's jacket, so he wouldn't forget to give it back (and to annoy his parents), blue old jeans, a grey shirt  and his shoes, which tied together the look.

Mrs. Cade's smile slightly faded, making Johnny's grin grow.

"This is Jonathon.." Mr. Cade said with a smile, while placing a hand on Johnny's shoulder.

"Call me Johnny." He smiled, knowing his was angering his parents more and more.

"Lovely to meet you Johnny." Pony said with a smile, clearing recognising the coat.

Mrs and Mr. Cade invited the Curtis' into the living room, as Mrs. Cade talked to Maryanne about school, Pony and Johnny made small talk, and Soda was.. well, being Soda.

"Jonathon, come here for a minute." Mr. Cade called, and in that second, Johnny knew he was screwed.

"Yes..?" He replied, while walking into the kitchen, playing with the sleeve on the jacket, trying to calm himself down.

"Listen here boy. I don't know where you got that jacket, but you promise be one thing, you give it the fuck back. Mi senti ragazzo?"

Johnny just nodded his head, not knowing quite what his father meant, as he didn't speak much Italian, which infuriated his parents.

"Yes sir."

"You don't even know what I said, do you? You don't even speak Italian!" He laughed. He was right.

"Now, go make tea for your mother and Mrs. Curtis? And go nowhere near her boys." He said sternly, Johnny nodded his head in response.

Oh how he loved afternoon tea, especially with guests over!

Notes,

All of the Italian parts were from google translate, as I don't speak it much, so apologies if the grammar or anything is wrong!

I'm afraid for chapters up until maybe six, everyone will be out of character! I swear it won't be like this forever.

Hope you have a good day or night... or different time?
