He felt weak. . Extremely weak. . .

And hot- Burning hot.

You're horrible,
And everybody 'round you hates you.

Why did he feel this way? What happened?

Surely the explosion wasn't that bad, right?

. . . . . Right?

Ow.

Why did his chest hurt so much. . ?

You're horrible,
Your special spot in hell awaits you.

"O- n-?"

. . . What?

"Do- ie-?"

Who? What? What are you saying?

His ears rang, feeling as if a rather annoying heart monitor was constantly in his ear.

A heart monitor that had been flatlined.

"D- ie- a- ke!"

Who was saying that? What were they saying?

"D- nie- ple- se!"

You're horrible,
And all you ever ever do is hurt them-em-em.
When will they see that you're an awful person.

He tried calling back, tried opening his mouth to speak. He tried everything in his power to respond to the voice that seemed to be speaking to him.

He couldn't.

You're horrible,
You must be feeling pretty sorry.
You're horrible,
That's something everybody can agree.

Stop. Stop that! I'm trying!

He suddenly realized the full extent of the pain in his body, from the raging headache down to his almost numb-feeling toes.

"Don- ie! Wa- up!" The voice called again, this time more easy to make out. It was Raph, and he seemed to be freaking out.

You're horrible,
And all that you had meant to do was help him-im-im
But it seems you're nothing but a nuisance.

Stop! Stop it! Stop!

His breathing quickened, and his head throbbed. He felt so bad for his older brother, the voice was right.

It was his fault

He was a horrible person.

Raph is upset because of his ignorance.

He was able to twitch his fingers, letting out a faint whimper of pain as his eyes squeezed slightly tighter shut.

"Donnie?" The voice was much clearer, yet the ringing in his ears was still prominent.

Raph. .

He twitched his fingers again, body shaking and tense.
"Donnie, Donnie please wake up- Don't leave Raph again-"

Again-?

His eyes suddenly shot open, a gurgled shriek emitting from his throat as his body tensed once more. It was agonizing, the pain. His body burned and stung and ached. His head throbbed and his shell felt horrid.
