"Holy shell. . I- I'm so sorry you guys— I shoulda—"
"Don't, April. It's fine, we ain't there anymore." Raph reassured.
"Right— But still, ya shouldn't have had to go through that—"
"Yeah, guess so."
"Though. . That does make me wonder—"
"Hm? About what?"
"Donnie says he records everything right?"
"Uh- yeah. . ? Wh- ohhhhh, smart thinkin' April!" The snapper smiled.
"Where's his phone? He always sends a copy to his phone and his computer just in case one is damaged." She looked around.
"It is not wise to go through someone's personal belongings, although since this is a rather important matter, I suppose I shall let it be for now."
"Uhhhh. . About that—" Leo started, pulling out the shattered device from within his fanny pack. "It's kinda— cracked?"
". . Well— Is his cuff okay? Maybe he recorded it on that?"

"Oh! Yeah! Smart!"
"It is within his luggage, small front pocket." Draxum stated.
She nodded, walking over to the coffee table and kneeling down. She unzipped the front pocket on his backpack, silently thanking Donnie for being organized and pulling out his tech cuff. She returned to the seat, allowing Mikey to sit back down on her lap and beginning to sign into the device.
"And how exactly do you know his security information?"
"I'm his best friend. Also, in case of emergencies." She said, scrolling through his long, alphabetized list of files.
"This is gonna take—"
"Found it!"
"Wh- how?!" Leo exclaimed.
"Easy, I went to his recents." She grinned. Then held out the cuff for everyone to be able to see the video. "Ready?"
"Yes" Everyone replied in unison, watching closely as the teen pressed play. Suddenly, a large projecting showed above the device, with a very high quality camera footage.

"Damnit Purple you said you have fixed the T.V.!" The rat man snapped, scowling.
"I did! But you got angry at it and threw the damn remote at it for the fifth time in a row!" The latter countered.
"Well it isn't my fault these shows are terrible!"
"Then choose better shows!"
"How about you find me better shows!"
"How do I do that?! That's cable television in case your little rat brain hasn't noticed!"
"I dunno! Hack it or do that weird techy stuff or something!"
"Oh, yes, because that's all I am to you. Your little crime-doer and hacker! Bet you want me to hack the Pentagon next, huh? Or- or maybe the damn Whitehouse?!"
". . ."
"I bet you just keep me around because of that, huh?! You know what don't even reply to that I already know the damn answer."
"No, I do not. I keep you around because your brothers need—"
"YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING MORE THAN MY TECH!" He screamed, tears spotting the corners of his eyes. "So why would they. . ?"

The group froze for a second, registering the last sentence and glancing over at the softshell. They jumped as he began to shift uncomfortably, squeezing his eyes tighter as he had apparently heard the entirety of the footage.
"Do we have his goggles?" April questioned.
"Large pocket, I could not fit them inside the smaller one due to the cuff." Draxum stated.
Mikey just nodded and stood, going and grabbing his goggles from the bag.
Meanwhile April paused the video as they waited, rewinding it slightly to where they were all last focused.
Mikey ran over to Donnie, slipping the device onto his head and gently stroking his forehead in soothing motions.
The softshell slowly ceased his shifting, body relaxing as the noise-cancelling setting was put on.
Mikey smiled and ran back over to April, taking his spot back and resuming the video for her.

"Damnit child shouldn't those sessions with oranges counterparts be helping? Because they don't seem to."
"He shouldn't have to do that. . ." He murmured.
"Speak up child, I cannot hear you." He growled.
"I said, he shouldn't HAVE to be giving me those sessions! He's just a kid! He shouldn't be the damn family therapist!! You should have realized, or can you not remember that either?" He scowled.
"You are one to talk, you helped provide him with a degree in the subject, do you not remember?"
"Oh I remember very clearly old man. I also remember having to remind him about the fact he isn't useless after doing so because he specifically said he quote- 'wanted to be helpful' because he thought he wasn't useful enough! He came to me because he didn't trust you enough to come to you with his problems!" He screamed, voice wavering and unhelpful and, in his opinion, quite pitiful amount.
"I do not get why he-"
"Because you don't act like you care! The most you do to acknowledge us is to yell at us for being too close to the t.v. and to get you your stupid milk and cake! Or when you need something to yell at for a show's horrible ending!"
