It had been about a week and a half now, and the softshell was still having frequent panic attacks, flashbacks, and other problems that they unfortunately could only do so much for. They were beginning to get worried for him
. . .

Donatello awoke with a light groan, eyes suddenly shooting open with a cry of pain. He tensed up again, curling in on himself and screaming. No not again, not again, not again, NOT AGAIN!!
Someone suddenly burst in, running to his side and snatching the painkillers from the nightstand. "Hey, hey hey 'Tello! It's okay I got the pain killers."
He held his sides, ignoring the seering pain throughout his limbs. "Hurts- Hurts! Why am I back here?!" He rasped, his throat burning with each desperate gasp for air he made.
"Yeah, yeah I know it does. That's why I'm tryin' to give you some medicine to help Hermano." He gently reached for the softshell's arm, pulling it away from his side and squeezing his hand. "C'mon, just take the medicine and you won't be hurting anymore."

"Wh- why- why are we back here?!"
"We're not back there, dude." He helped him to a sitting position, using one hand to keep him stable while using his other to give him the pill and water. "Here,"
He shakily took the medicine, chugging down the water like it was his last. "T- tunnel— W- we—"
"No, we're in the lair. The lair isn't—"

. . .

Shit.

The lair- that's why he's freaking out—

"H- Hey Hermano? Imma be right back, okay? I promise you it'll only take a sec—" He said, quickly running out after laying him back down.

"We gotta find someone who'll help with this. He's still freaking out about the tunnel, and it doesn't help that the lair is literally just a bunch of tunnels!"
"Look, Leo. The only way we would be able to help without freakin' him out more is if he stays with someone. And I know you don't want that."
". . . Well- I mean if it'll help?"
"Oh- Didn't think you'd agree. Well— Eh- We don't have many options. There's April, but I doubt she'd be able 'cause of her mom. Obviously Big Mama and Repo are outta the question. I guess that just leaves. . ."
"What? Who- no. No no! He threw. Me. Off. A. Roof! What's to say he won't do the same to him? Ain't no way I'm letting him near Don! Nuh-uh, no way, nada! End of story!" He crossed his arms, shaking his head aggressively.

"Well then what other option do we have, Leo?" Raph questioned.
"We'll find someone! I'm sure Sunita or Cassandra or someone could?"
"No! No Cassandra! She literally tried to kill me for trying to get a video game, remember?" Mikey suddenly spoke up, appearing beside the two.
"He got a point. Plus I don't trust those two trouble makers alone. . Somethin's definitely gonna be on fire with just a day of them together."
"Or blown up." Mikey added.
"Or hacked and broken into." Raph deadpanned.
"Or—"
"Alright! Alright! Geeze I get it!" Leo snapped. "Fine. But he steps one hoof out of line—"
"Yeah, yeah. We won't let that happen. Plus, he's our second pops. We gotta at least give him some credit."
"Oh- but what if Donnie—"
"He'll be fine!" Mikey chirped, placing a hand on the sliders shoulder. "Draxum's a cool guy when ya get to know 'im!"

Leo just glared to the side, huffing in annoyance. "Yeah, because the guy who literally dropped me off an over three story building is a cool guy."
"I mean, he tried killing all of us a few times but we helped him and now look where he's at!"
"A lunch lady in a high school cafeteria that somehow is the target of twenty percent of the crimes that happen in this state?"
"Hey! Just be thankful he isn't from Jersey!"
They all paused, shuddering at the thought.
"Yeah- I guess you are right there—"
"Yep! Now let's talk with Drax about it!" The orange-clad box turtle skipped out.
"Leo, how 'bout you stay with Don while me and Mike go get pops?" Raph suggested.
"Fine by me."
"Aight, if anythin' happens, call us. I'll have my phone on loud." He walked out after receiving a nod.
