"Dee—"
"Yes 'Nardo?"
"Do- do you think we'll be together forever? Y'know. . Me, you, Mikey, and Raph? Even when we grow older?"
"Well. . Logically I would have to say no, because we all have our own dreams and goals we wish to pursue. You wanna be a stand up comedian or a movie star, 'Angelo wants to be a famous artist, Papa wants to go back to his old title as an action star, and Raph. . Well I'm not sure what Raph wants to be quite honest."
"Oh. . ." He dipped his head sadly.
"But—" He rested a careful hand upon the latter's shoulder, leaning down to face him directly. "On the off chance we don't end up pursuing our futures, I feel as if we should."
"You mean it?" His head lifted with a hopeful gleam to his eyes.
"Yes," He nodded. "I mean it 'Nardo."
"Especially us?"
He nodded once more. "Precisely, especially us. I feel as if 'Angelo will one day end up pursuing his dream, it wouldn't be hard for him with how good he already is at it."
He giggled. "And he's only five!"
He snickered as well. "Yeah. . And it seems Raph is in full support of your little dream, and 'Angelo's dream."
"But what about yours?"
"What ever do you mean dear brother?"
"What about your dream? Don't you have one?" He tilted his head slightly in confusion.
"Oh. . Well— I- I'm not sure what I'm going to do, to be quite honest. . ." He sighed.
"Oh that's alright! I'm sure ya got somethin' in that big head of yours!"
He chuckled.

"Yeah. . Yeah I guess so. . . ."

Donnie awoke with a heavy gasp, sitting up and breathing frantically. His hand pressed against his plastron in attempts to breathe correctly but it just wouldn't work. "L- Leo?! Raph, Mikey?! Where- where is everyone—!?" He yelled out, noting the dark void that was this space he was in. He went to stand, falling off of whatever soft surface he was laying on and tumbling to the floor loudly. He got onto his hands and knees, chest heaving for air so he could just breathe! Oh God why couldn't he breathe?! Breathe damnit!

He gasped once more, it coming out as more of a scratchy cry as tears cascaded down his face in large droplets. "No- no no no no!!" He screamed, body wracking with wretched sobs as he failed once more to gain his breath.
Suddenly a loud muffled voice was heard from nearby, busting down the door (when was there a door??) and flipping on the lights. " Donnie?! Donnie what's wrong are you okay?!" The figure—now recognized as Leo—looked around for a moment before locking his eyes on the gasping softshell. His eyes widened and he immediately ran to him. He kneeled beside him, resting his hands on his shoulders and gently pulling him to his chest. "Hey, hey, breathe, it's me Leo. I'm here, it's okay— breathe. . In, out, in. . Out. . ." He instructed, rubbing his shoulders soothingly.
He continued gasping, attempting to inhale and exhale along to his words. Slowly—ever so slowly, it began to even out. He hiccupped, mouth hanging open before snapping shut a few seconds later as a new stream of tears came rolling down his face. "L- Leo—" He choked out, not as much of a question, but more as a statement that it was truly him.

"Yeah, 'ts me, Leo. I'm here buddy, just breathe. I'm not going anywhere." He cooed, smiling and continuing to rub his shoulders.
The latter simply nodded before abruptly twisting and wrapping his arms around the slider, shoving his face into his plastron as his crying resumed. "L- Leo. . ! 'M sorry— 'M sorry Leo. . I'm so, so, sorry. . !!" He sobbed, squeezing his eyes shut.
"Hey, hey, no. Don't apologize dude, you're alright. It's fine. I'm not hurt, you're not hurt—are you?" He pulled him into his lap, arms wrapping lightly around him so he didn't fall out.
He shook his head rapidly. "N- no. ."
"Good, good, see? No one's hurt. Everyone else is asleep, and the— erm-. . Bad guys— are in jail." He reassured.
"Okay. . Okay. . ." He nodded slowly, sniffling.
"Yeah, you alright now? Somethin' else on your mind?" He rested a hand on his shell, rubbing it in attempts to comfort the latter.
"Yeah, 'm fine. . Thanks—"
"No prob, but ya mind tellin' me what caused this?" He questioned. "Was it another nightmare?"
"Yeah. . Just another dumb nightmare—"
"Nah, it's fine. It happens. I'm just glad I got here in time to get ya to breathe—"
"Mhm. . Thanks—"
"Don't mention it bro, just makin' sure you're safe 'n all." He smiled.
