"Hey guys! What did y'all wanna tell me?" April walked into the home, shutting the door behind her and noticing how unusually quiet it was. Okay. . Weird— At least I know what my answer is to one question— She looked around, slowly making her way towards where she remembered the lounge was. She was even more weirded out when she hadn't seen any of them there, not even Draxum or Donnie—Who usually either read or watched something.

She sighed, cupping her hands around her mouth and calling out to the brothers. "Guys! Where are you?"
There was a faint voice from down the long hall, which brought the girl towards Donnie's room. "In here, April!"
She shrugged it off, assuming Donnie was just showing the family something new he made from the laboratory and striding towards the doorway. She adjusted her backpack, turning into the entrance and stopping with a look of confusion. "Why are y'all watching him sleep? That's kinda creepy— Y'know he's gonna lecture y'all if he finds out—"
"We- we ain't necessarily watching him sleep per sé. ." Raph spoke up, voice sounding scratchy as if he were crying some time before she arrived.
"What? What does that mean? Is he being dramatic again?" She cocked an eyebrow.
"I wish." Mikey sighed. "Uh- Dad— You wanna- y'know— Give her the deets?"
"Yes, I suppose I can." He nodded, turning to the girl and gesturing to an open stool beside his own.
"Okay y'all are freakin' me out here— You always but you three especially—" She shuffled over to the stool, sitting down and glancing to all four of them. "And why is Leo not jokin' up a storm?"

"April. . You understand that the foot clan has recently been. . Detained- Correct?"
"Uh- yeah? I saw it on the news. They were found at the top of metro building or whatever. I assumed y'all finally beat 'em."
"You are correct, they were defeated, but it did not go as. . Planned—" He dragged on, attempting to talk without her freaking out immediately. (Wasn't out of fear, his ears just could not handle how high her voice gets when she screams "what?!" Really loud—)
"Just give it to me straight G-man. You know I hate suspense like this. I'm still confused as to why Dee ain't wakin' up, Raph looks like he just watched his teddy bear get torn apart in front of him, Lee ain't joking about how funny he thinks my confusion is, and Mikey ain't clingin' to ya like a koala." She crossed her arms.
"Don isn't necessarily asleep. Nor is he awake. He ain't even conscious." Mikey mumbled, just loud enough for April to hear the last part.
Her eyes widened, turning her head to Mikey, then Raph, then Donnie and Leo, then back to Draxum. "What?!"
Well there goes his ears. "Perhaps we should converse outside on the matter, so as to not make things worse." He stated, standing and leading the girl outside. He shut the door, sighing and frowning. "He is comatose, to put it simply."
"WHAT?!" She shrieked. "What do you mean he's in a coma?! What happened while I was gone?!"

"Ow." He grimaced. "I mean what I say miss O'Neil. It turns out the Foot had acquired his technology from Splinter and decided to attempt to capture the boys with it. It is quite a long story but to put it bluntly, these kids weren't necessarily being smart whilst attempting their attack and these three were caught. I was informed that Donatello here hadn't been very happy with it and nearly obliterated the captors whilst obtaining his mystic abilities."
She just blinked, opening her mouth to say something before having a fuzzy pink hand cupped over it.
"Please, miss O'Neil. Cease the screaming, my ears cannot handle such a frequency like that." He stated, slowly removing his hand before continuing. "It had gotten rather. . Out of control, the battle. He had apparently had the bright Idea to take them to the tower in question and finish it off there. Unfortunately he was caught off guard and taken down. . ."
". . And how-?"
"They had used his own weapons against him, one being a taser-like gun on its highest setting."
"So he was—"
"Yes, he was electrocuted to unconsciousness. It didn't help he had been drained from his overuse of mysticism. The two pathetic foes unfortunately had the ever bright idea to throw him from the building just before we arrived to the scene."
