"One normal night

One normal night

One normal night

Don-nie wants

One normal night
One normal night
One normal night. . ."

"Take that evildoers!" Mikey exclaimed, wrapping his kusari-fundo around the robbers and successfully trapping them.
"Nice going Mike's! Now Donnie, got any rope or somethin'?" Raph turned towards the softshell, who was fiddling with his tech cuff.
"Yes, Raph, just let me quickly fix something. It seems one had managed to damage something within the battle shell and now I cannot put it on." He ranted, visibly grimacing and snatching his battle shell from the floor. He opened an emergency compartment from within and pulled out a nearly bundled roll of rope. He dropped the shell, walking to the restrained group and beginning to wrap the rope around. He ensured their arms were immobile so they didn't escape, neatly tying off the end and standing. He gave a quick thumbs up before watching Mikey unravel the kusari-fundo from the group.

"Alright guys, what do ya say we celebrate with some of Hueso's famous pizza?" Leo grinned, crossing his arms and leaning on his left leg.
"Ah, yes. Because he wants to deal with two hyperactive dumb-dumbs and co." Donnie deadpanned, crossing his arms with an eye roll.
"Re-laxxx. . . I'm sure he'll be very happy to see his new-favorite customers!"
"Oh? That's a new one, how about I ask him myself if that's true?"
"Alright then let's go!" The slider turned on his heel, beginning to march his way towards the alleys.
"No need, let me just text him."
The blue-clad abruptly stopped, slowly turning to face the twin with an offended expression. "How do you have his number?! He said he didn't even have a phone anymore!"
"I acquired it after the whole 'Kraang-apocolypse' ordeal. Believe it or not he actually cares about you, 'Nardo. He entrusted it to moi because he knows I won't be texting him twenty-four-seven."
He-" Dramatic sniffle. "Cares-?" The slider smiled, somehow managing fake tears as he clasped his hands together. He began to ugly-cry on Raph's shoulder. "I knew I was his favorite. . ! I just knew ittt!"

The softshell rolled his eyes, receiving a buzz from his phone and looking down. He saw it was a text from the bone-man himself, grinning. "Amused snort, 'Nardo cease your intolerable sob-fest. Your third Puh-pa has replied."
The slider suddenly popped up from behind him, snatching the phone and reading the text.

Seniõr Hueso:
Yes, well I suppose you are not entirely wrong. You did save all of humanity and yokai-kind. Just don't tell pepino I said that, he's going to do that insufferable sob-fest like last time.
4:23A.M.

"I KNEW IT!" The slider exclaimed, throwing the phone to his twin and doing a little jig.
The genius sighed, rolling his eyes and replying to the Bone-man.

Me:
Too late, he had temporarily confiscated my phone and seen the message. Now he is doing his celebratory victory dance.
4:25A.M.

Seniõr Hueso:
Surprised he hasn't stormed my restaurant and started sobbing.
4:27A.M.

Me:
Afraid he has already previously started it just before you replied to my previous messages. He was already ready to storm your restaurant. Apologies in advance, though.

"Well, I have done all that I could to prepare him for the chaos to come. Let us depart, fellow brethren." Donnie stated, beginning to march behind the now moving group. He crouched to pick up his battle shell, standing up as a loud bang sounded through the street.

The echo was loud, the silence that followed was louder.

"What was that?!"
"Dunno, but it didn't sound good—"
"Don do y—" The snapper turned, eyes widening in horror as he spotted the genius slightly hunched over, battle shell on the ground in front of him and a large trail of purple flowing from his stomach. The softshells hand hovered over where the blood flowed from, body shaking as he stumbled a few steps forward. The purple began to hit the ground, loud drips cutting through the deafening silence as his breaths began growing raspy. He glanced up at the trio, eyes rolling back before his legs promptly gave out. The snapper caught him just before he hit the ground, the loud screams of his brothers echoing throughout the street.
"DONNIE!"
The snapper held the limp body in his arms, his own body trembling with terror. Holding him in his lap, he began to cry, sob even. "L- leo— he's bleedin' bad—"
"They shot him. . . They- I-" The slider was at a loss for words, overwhelmed by a sudden sense of fear washing over him. He shook his head, swallowing that fear down and taking a breath. "We need to get him to the med bay, and quick."
"But Leo what about the robbers—?" Mikey questioned, his own heavy stream of tears flowing.

"We'll worry about them later, Mikey. Right now we just gotta make sure Don doesn't die!"
The box turtle snapped his beak shut and nodded, wiping his arm over his face and beginning to run towards the alleys.
Raph followed suit, followed by Leo.
