"I thank you again for ridding of the clutter within my home. I hope you are able to find some use to those gadgets in your Carnival project."
"Ah, yes. I'm sure we could find use of these. . ." The scrawny man grinned, tossing an orb-like contraption up and catching it a few times as he gave out a raspy chuckle.
"I am glad." The rat man nodded, walking towards the exit of the lair.
The two followed, each holding a box of unknown tech. The insides of the cardboard clanked and clicked, shifting around from the movement as they were jostled.
He turned to the two men with the mustaches and jumpsuits as they reached the exit, smiling and bidding them farewell. "I cannot wait to see how it turns out for you, then."
"We will be sure to keep in touch." The scrawny one rasped, waving innocently as they walked into the main tunnel.
Splinter waited for them to turn another corner, turning on his heel and walking back towards the lounge.

The two chuckled to each other, removing their poorly-stuck mustaches and jumpsuits and picking the boxes back up. They continued walking, leaving the disguises in the tunnel.
"Idiotic rat, he just gave us some of the exact things we've been looking for." The smaller one barked a laugh.
"I'm sure he wasn't meaning it."
"No you- ugh. . I mean, obviously he wasn't meaning to! But— you know what nevermind I don't have the patience."
The two continued out of the sewers, boxes held close as they climbed the ladder rungs and lifted the manhole cover. They hopped out, not even bothering to close it back up before making their way back to the abandoned warehouse by the paper factory.

The two returned to the warehouse, setting their boxes down with a content sigh. They were greeted by the emotionless faces of their paper soldiers, all standing at attention in four large lines.
"I think we should start some testing on these. Y'know, just in case."
"Sounds good to me!" The muscular one nodded, picking up a blaster-like machine and examining it. He pointed the barrel towards one of the soldiers' heads and pulled the trigger, sending a burst of electricity in the form of a spherical ball directly towards them. He and the scrawny one quickly ducked down, being blinded by white for two full seconds before opening their eyes again.
The soldier in question was hit square in the forehead by the ball, the ball's shell shattering upon impact and sending a shockwave to the soldiers that were a few feet too close to it. It suddenly it up in sparks, body jerking for a few seconds before it shriveled up and shredded in an instant, leaving nothing but a pile of paper shreds and dust in its place.

The two blinked, grinning and turning to each other as they nodded.
He set the blaster-like machine aside, allowing the scrawny one to retrieve the sphere he had been tossing around earlier.
The scrawny foot-face stood, pressing a button on the sphere and throwing it at the soldiers. He watched as the sphere broke into four sections, spreading out as a glowing purple net attached them together. Said net landed directly on five of the soldiers, the four ends of the sphere making a mechanical click noise as they stuck to the floor like magnets. It took about three seconds before the paper soldiers' bodies began shifting, contorting a few times before suddenly unfolding back into simple pieces of paper. Their original form.
He grinned, walking towards the net and pressing one of the spheres sides' buttons. The net retracted quickly, the sphere beginning to piece back together as the net disappeared into the center. The four sides attached with a click and rolled over to his foot, hitting it lightly. He picked it up, turning to the other and tossing it up into the air, promptly catching it again.
"So, what're you gonna do with that doohickey?" The muscular one asked, cocking an eyebrow curiously.
"I think I know exactly what to do." He grinned, chuckling devilishly and returning the orb to the box.

Donatello shifted around in his sleep, murmuring something inaudible as the others sat near him whilst playing a game.
They took a quick glance towards him, noticing the shifting but thinking nothing of it other than them possibly being too loud.
