Chapter 16

//Chishiya POV

"Chishiya!! Chishiya!! Wake up!!" I hear my name being called as I feel my shoulders forcefully being shaken. I blink a few times before I full open them, my vision is extremely blurry.
I can see a figure in front of me as I try to sit up, suddenly warm arms are wrapped around me.
"I thought I had lost you" I hear a voice whisper in my ear. I recognise that voice, my head still feels clouded.
"I'm so sorry" the voice sniffles next to my face. As my mind becomes clearer I realise it is y/n, her arms still tightly wrapped around me.
As my mind becomes clearer, I wrap my arms around her. As she come back for me? Where is Niragi?
She begins to slowly let go as I see her crouched down next to me, her hand brushing my cheek.
I raise my hand to her cheek as I steady myself. Her big eyes staring at me feels hypnotising. I blink a few more times before speaking.

"Are you okay Chishiya?" Both of y/n hands are on my face now as she stares deep into my eyes. I can't help but feel a warmth spread through me knowing she's here with me.
As I try to collect my thoughts I hear another family voice speak before I can get any words out.

"Told you he's fine. Now let's go". It was Niragi. He spoke firmly as I heard his footsteps approach me. "He was just having a little nap, weren't you, Chishiya?" Niragi laughed under his breath as he crouched down next to y/n.
I looked back towards y/n, who I can now see clearly. I couldn't help but notice marks all over he neck and chest. Had Niragi done this? How long had I been passed out? Did he force himself on her or did she let him do that willingly? I raised my hand, tracing down the bruised marks down her neck, not able to move my eyes from them. I felt her pulse racing under my fingers.

"You can remove your hands off her now, dick" Niragi slapped away my hand, breaking my trance and interrupting my thoughts. I looked back up towards y/n who's eyes already seemed to be filled with tears, before whispering towards me again.

"I'm so sorry, Chishiya" she took a deep breath and rose to her feet. Niragi standing up with her.
She muttered towards Niragi, I just about made out what she said.

"We can't just leave him like this" she held onto Niragis arm, and looked back towards me.
Niragi scoffed towards her.

"We can and we will" he said arrogantly. "He's already wasted too much of our time" he started pulling y/n towards the door. She tried to push him off her as she was still locked eyes with me, but he just grabbed her arm tighter and pulled her harder.

"Please forgive me" she mouthed in my direction as she finally exited the room.

I just sat there for what felt like an eternity.
I began to look around at the mess in the room. This is y/n room, I can't just leave it like this. Not that it will matter, Niragi will probably only let her leave his room to join games now.
Still, I need to make it tidy for her, just incase.
I began tidying, picking up everything I could. I would still need to get her mattress from outside.
I was there for a couple of hours, as I was almost finished when I noticed a book sticking out from under the divan bed frame. It was an art book. I didn't know y/n drew. I guess I didn't actually know much about her, just how she made me feel. I began flipping through the pages noticing the amazing artwork she had done when suddenly there was a lump in my throat. I stopped on a page of a drawing. I couldn't take me eyes from the page. It was me.
Written in small lettering underneath my picture were the words "I Love You, Chishiya "
My chest locked and I struggled to take a breath. She loves me? She had never told me that. When did she even draw this picture? Had she planned on giving me it? I pulled the page out and put it in my pocket. I flipped through the rest of the pages and I smiled slightly as there were no pictures of Niragi, and no sign she had removed any other pages.
I put the book back under her bed and finished tidying what was left to do before making my way back to my own room.
I sat in the darkness in a chair next to the window. Just the light from the moon shining through, I removed the picture from my pocket and ran my fingers across the words. My heart racing.
"I love you too, y/n"  I shut my eyes and leaned back in the chair, thinking of her lips on mine. "I'll save you y/n. You will be mine "
