when reality starts to hit you... (matt's pov)

She just left for work like an hour ago and I miss her already. Is crazy but I really love her and she's perfect to me and the one made for me and I'm not letting her go. We both know it's gonna be hard once we start telling close people or when and if it starts getting out the news of our relationship, but I don't care, I'm gonna protect her and stay with her through it all.

While she's gone, I started to read some emails and see if I have any interesting script to read or something to keep me busy. Some director contacted me to read his script for a project and to know if I'm interested and for what I read, it does sounds great, so I emailed him back saying that if he still wants me for the role, we should talk, told him that I'd be in LA in January if he wants to meet up and such.

I also talked to my manager and publicist to handle to agenda for the next couple of months especially since some things are getting moved due to the award season which is always chaotic and this is not exception, but I gotta say this time I'm really proud of the work we did on this first season and the fact that I'm sharing this experience with Milly and I wanna be there for her and to support her. The trip I had to Mexico I cancelled it, so I had to deal with my friends messing with me and trying to get me to confess which girl I am seeing and everything, but they didn't have any luck these bastards.

So, as of now I have half of January booked with stuff for Golden Globes and Critics' Choice and in between I'll go back to London to film my next project and I'm taking some meetings with a few people to meet for different opportunities and such. I told my publicist that she should talk and be in contact with not just Milly's team but Emma and paddy to scheduled stuff for us as a cast during those occasions and she said she has been already in talks to them and whenever they have news, they'll tell us.

This is gonna be hard for me to be away from Milly while we're at this circus because all I'd gonna do is to kiss her, hold her hand and tell the world how brilliant she's and that I'm the luckiest bastard alive to have her in my life. At least I can brag about how amazing she's but is definitely gonna be hard to keep our hands to ourselves. It was almost 10 pm and the afternoon passed very quickly, and I did a lot of work stuff related that haven't been able to do and then I received a call from paddy:

"Hey Smith, how are you?" – "hello paddy, I'm good, had a pretty good nap and I'm now catching up on some work and figuring out agenda for January and onwards, how about you?" – I said back – "yes same, kinda. I wanted to take a vacation with my wife and kids and that might get pushed a little but I'm also excited to see you guys and celebrate the show with you all. Speaking off, have you talked to Emma or Milly?" – oh he really wants to push me to say something else, you bastard...

"No, I haven't, Patrick. Emma, they're pretty busy so we texted very briefly but nothing else really, but they're doing great, and they send love your way. And Milly, no I haven't talked to her for a couple of weeks or so ago. We texted but since you called me earlier today, no I haven't heard from her. Did you have any luck?" – I was curious if he had any luck once she left the house and has been at work.

"Yes, I talked to her right before calling you. She's doing great with work and she says she's been feeling so happy and I think it might have to do with someone in her life and I'm happy for her" – my breath catches in my throat at that information before he kept going – "I told her that as her onscreen dad I wanna met that lad and tell him if he hurts her, he'd have to deal with me" – I laughed at that and smiled when he said she told him she was seeing someone and that she's happy and obviously I'm not gonna say that somebody is me and that I am equally if not more happy than she is and then I started sweating when he said the last part.

"Oh, I'm glad she might have found someone, and yes whoever this dude is he is gonna have to deal with us both, I'm with you" – good one smith – "fine, we have to ask her then when we see her. We have to agree on a date for that meeting. Liv is also in London, so might wanna be there with us and we may ask some of the others to come celebrate with us" – my brain is having trouble concentrating on anything he's saying because I'm kinda afraid he might already knew more than he should.
