what we've been up to... (matt's pov)

It's been a few weeks after milly's birthday and things have been more hectic and crazier than ever before in both of our careers and in our relationship.

Milly has been really busy with opportunities in fashion and has gone to quite a few fashion shows especially in Europe and I have been focusing all my time to the filming of season two of house of the dragon. I finished my last project while prepping for returning to westeros and barely had time off between that, spending time with milly, my family and friends. We finally moved into our new place which we ended up picking a week after milly's birthday and we've been settling in and decorating and everything as much as we can considering our busy schedules.

We've decided to keep our relationship as private as we can, which means we barely go out to public places or haven't done red carpets together. I haven't been with her during those fashion shows, stuff like that. Milly has also been really private on social media to avoid posting information related to us and she has been posting mostly stuff with her play that has premiered already, and I indeed went to the premiere and watched the show but didn't pose with her. That moment was saved to the privacy of our own home, and I went with her to the dinner party the company had for the whole cast, but it was in a private restaurant similar to the one I took milly for her birthday.

And the biggest part of us deciding on going private was to keep eyes out of milly mostly since paparazzi started following us everywhere in the last couple of weeks before moving. My place and her place weren't safe anymore and she has so much on her table and same with me, but also for her own mental health we decided to live our lives private, and we enjoy it this way. It can get tricky and to be honest that decision of being more private can change with time or not all, but I told milly it was her decision if she wanted to come out and say we are a couple. I can deal with whatever shit the press can say about me and whatever, but they don't know shit about us and our life, and I want to protect her and us as much as I can.

Also one of the reasons as to why we decided on this was because we had a bit of a situation where I was having breakfast with a castmate on my last project while being on location not in the UK and milly was already stressed with rehearsals of her play "the crucibles" and the pictures and stuff the press and paparazzi were taking and posting were so out of what actually happened and she saw the pictures online before I could even talk to her and ignored me for almost two days which to me was almost a death thread and reminded me that prior to us getting together when she went to Australia and didn't talked to me for weeks, so I asked for a day off and went to see milly back to London to fix this mess.

Throwback...

I was trying to call her on my way home and she wouldn't answer the phone, or my texts and I couldn't let this go, this was all the paparazzi taking everything out of context and I'm not letting this ruin my relationship with the person that means the most in the world to me and that person is milly, my amelia.

I knew she was home since I had her rehearsal schedule memorized by now with us working and being away from each other and according to her schedule, she was supposed to be home until the afternoon when she had to be back at the theater.

I opened the door of my place which I knew she was there since she had finally fully moved in with me while we waited to get the keys and paperwork done of our home and this couldn't come at the most important moment in our life as a couple and I was worried sick since she wasn't talking to me. After I said hello to Bobby, I went to my office and she wasn't there, so I knew she was in the bedroom. Once I opened the door of the bedroom I see she's sleeping and she is on my side of the bed with one of t-shirts that's too big on her and I could have left so she could keep sleeping but I really need to talk to her, so I went over and sat down on her side of the bed and it did the trick since she started waking up and once she opened her eyes and saw me sitting next to her, she tried to hide her face from me which made me realize that she had been crying until she fall asleep and that feeling stuck with me and made my stomach drop to the floor.
