extra chapter: one shot (matt's pov)

So wasn't going to post again until I finished a couple more chapters but 1) been feeling extremely uninspired and 2) I haven't had any time to fully write full chapters worthy of being posted.

But yesterday I saw a video on youtube of Matt and Fabien talking about different scenes that hotd posted on their YouTube channel prepping for the second season and in that Fabien mentions milly when he sees her and matt says: oh milly, she's epic or something like that and they laugh and I was gosh dang it. I miss milly on the show even more now and I wish we had gotten more interviews and promo between her and matt but alas. So this gave me an idea for this short chapter. So enjoy!

April 2024, London

Promo stuff for second season of house of the dragon was in full force and today I have a few interviews with Fabien and one of those things is to rewatch a couple of scenes from the first season and talk about it, reminiscing about it while we prep for the new season to premiere and what's to come. And even tho daemon and criston hate each other and are enemies, me and Fabien are really good friends and has been since we started filming the show and he has been so damn supportive about my relationship with milly and hasn't missed the opportunity of teasing me once I told him the news of our engagement but I told him to shut it, not a lot of people knows this yet.

I was at home getting ready for the day when she comes to the room to say goodbye since she's also going to a couple of meeting related to her new role of supergirl.

"Hey babe, good luck today. Gonna miss you" - she says while hugging me and putting her arms around me - "thank you love. You too, can't wait to hear how the projects are coming along. And I'm also gonna miss you."

she smiles at me and kisses me but we didn't had the chance of going any further since my phone starts making noises and I look up and see that's Fabien who's calling.

"Guess that's my clue to leave. See you tonight babe. Love you" - she kisses me again - "you too. See you tonight" - "say Fabien watch out if he mentions something funny in these interviews, behave".

I just laughed at her saying those stuff about Fabien, because he's a clown and gets us in trouble in interviews.

I got to the place where we're having the interviews and say hello to our team and Fabien.

"Hey mate. How you've doing?" - I asked him - "good. I'm ready for to get over this and for the new season to be out. It's been ages" - he says and I couldn't agree more.

"I know, season 1 feels like ages ago" - I said and we sat down in our chair waiting for the segment that hbo is hosting to show online.

"Speaking of season 1, how is your lady doing?" - he was very careful tonight by not mentioning milly by name. Even tho we have confirmed our relationship we still try and keep everything else private and there's any chance that are people that doesn't know my relationship status, not gonna be the one to spill the guts and we're thankful that our friends and colleagues support us and take care of us.

"She's good. Excited about her new project and has been doing tests at the studio and stuff like that. And we've been really good, enjoying every minute we can while our agendas are getting crazy. How about you?" - I said to him and he smiles back loving to hear we're doing good.

"That sounds so good, mate. I'm so ready to see everything she's gonna be apart of and I'm so glad you guys are enjoying life" - he smiles before continuing - "and I'm good, nothing new to tell. I've been so busy lately that haven't been able to even try and get out there to maybe meet someone new. But I'm relaxed too".

"That's good. I'm happy for you mate, you'll find someone soon enough" - we share a laugh when production people comes and tell us that is time to start filming these segments.
