what we've been up to... (milly's pov)

A few days after our heart-to-heart moment we had where we put every emotion, insecurities, feelings we might still have and everything else on the table and we opened ourselves to each other like never before and since then there's no doubt left in my body how I feel for matt or how he feels about me.

If there was any doubt in my body after that incident, everything is gone because I have never felt safer or happier than when I'm with him, having him by my side and spend my life with him, to hear him out and explain what had happened and that conversation we had was everything I needed and more to finally love him openly and without any doubt that I wanna spend the rest of my life with him.

We were still safe in our bubble inside our home, but matt has been in a few events in a few conventions, and he was there to talk about mostly house of the dragon and how the new season is going, etc., while I have a few fashion shows that I'm invited to. Also I have a few weeks left on the play I'm doing and honestly is the work I'm most proud of a part of house of the dragon and this is mostly because that job gave me so many opportunities I've never had before and what's yet to come but also it brought me to matt and before that or meeting him I never thought about falling in love with someone or the fact that it happened but I'm so grateful and I wouldn't change anything.

Once I got home after doing the show tonight, I noticed that everything was way too quiet and no Bobby or matt were in sight and I look around and see nothing and then I noticed a post it on the bridge that said he had gone to see his mum for a bit and that had a surprise for me upstairs and I smile because of course only him would have a surprise ready for me waiting while he was somewhere else.

I go upstairs to our room and the room had the lights turned very low and a candle was burning in the table near the bathroom where I also have my makeup store and shit like that. I go to the bathroom, and he had the bath ready for me to take a bath without the water just in case once I get home would have turned cold already. I take my phone and texted him:

"Babe, what's this for? thank you so much. Love you and please enjoy your time with your mum and send her a hug from me."

I turned the water to fill the bath while I get undressed and grabbed my phone and put some music and connected my phone to the audio system matt had installed in our room and once the water was ready decided to get into the bath waiting for matt to get home.

After a little while I felt noise coming from downstair and I knew my boys were back and I finished my bath, and I was in our room changing clothes when I feel the door open and matt coming inside.

"Hey babe, how was your visit with your mum?", I said.

"It went great, she sent hellos and a hug back. Missed you though. How was today's show?", he said while he walked over me and gave me a hug and then I grabbed his neck and looked at him and he got the sign to kiss me. Once we had to stop for air, I answered his question.

"Tonight's show went well, there was a movie producer in the audience but wasn't backstage after the show, so never found out who it was but the show is going well, tiring you know? but also, we only have two more weeks and then I don't know what's next but I'm getting there you know?"

"You'll do amazing in whatever that might be babe, you're amazing", he said looking at me with the most loving eyes and I smiled back at him because he's always been so supportive of me since the day we met.

"Thank you baby, love you", I kissed him slowly.

"How was your bath, I see you enjoyed it", he said. "I did, thank you, that was very sweet of you."

"I thought you'd need it after a tiring day, I also brought leftovers from mum that she sent for you, if you're hungry", he said, and I smiled.

"Yes, I'm a bit hungry and Lynn is amazing and so is her food", we both laugh because it's true and also, I love that she always cares about us and sends us food whenever he's there or when we are both having dinner with her at her place or when she comes here, she always cooks extra food for us to eat the next day or so.
