LA-Craziness Part II (matt's pov)

We were like half an hour into the awards and it's going well thus far.

They started with movie categories, so it's still a bit longer until our categories come around and we have 5 categories in total, and they told us the comedy ones will happen first and then drama and the drama series category it's gonna be the last one and one of the last on the entire ceremony. My category will be first, then Milly, then Paddy and finally Emma before the big drama series.

The show is going well, the host is someone we don't know anything about but he's okay. Even though he has said some weird shit, and you can tell that the air in the room is tense and weird, but overall is going well and we are now in our second round of drinks, and we don't have much food and we are also hungry. Let's see how the nights ends.

The night continues and some amazing people are getting awarded and our section is coming really soon and then two actresses that I personally don't recognize come on stage and say our categories are next: meaning Milly's and my category and I'm getting nervous and anxious. I look at her and tell her with my eyes "I love you", and we were holding hands under the table the whole time they were introducing the categories before saying they are starting with mine for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.

They showed clips of each of us after saying our names and my clip was me and Milly as Daemon and Rhaenyra talking during the wedding banquet, and they cut the clip right when my character grabbed her face and I just looked at milly and we smiled and clapped, and I put aside the fact that we were most likely shown in camara smiling at each other.

I'm not gonna lie, my stomach was all weird. I've been nominated to stuff before but I have barely won anything and any other award show other than the Emmys, have never really showed love and support to game of thrones as they should have, so I'm nervous.

"And the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series is...", the presenter says while opening the envelope, "Matt Smith from House of the Dragon. Congrats."

I'm speechless and I look at Milly and she has the biggest smile as I get up and she hugs me, and I kissed her in the cheek, and she puts her hands in mine and smiles big. Then I hug Emma and paddy, Ryan and Miguel and make my way to the stage. Since we were seated at the back, it takes me awhile to get there when I hear the theme from the show playing in the background.

I said, "oh wow, this is amazing. I'm truly speechless and I have nothing prepared, so I just wanna thank Miguel and Ryan for giving me the opportunity to play this character and my castmates that are here, Emma, Paddy and Milly and the rest of the cast who I bet are gonna make fun of me tomorrow but love you all. I wanna say thank you very quickly and dedicate this award to my dad who left us while I was preparing to film this show and didn't get the opportunity of seeing my work on this show being finished but has always been proud of me and I know he's up cheering me up. To my mum and sister Laura, I love you. To my best friend, thank you for being with me and know that you have my heart. I love you. Thank you hefpa." I smiled at the audience and my eyes locked with Milly's and she has the biggest smile and I smiled back at her.

I took a deep breath and went backstage after receiving the award and they went to commercial break. I took pictures backstage and did a brief interview since I had decided to do press at the end only if the show wins. I want to be with my cast and milly and not by myself. And also, since I'm avoiding those unwanted questions to be asked.
