LA-Craziness Part I (milly's pov)

After the party we had at Matt's house the other day, we're now in a flight to LA to attend the Golden Globes and then the Critics' Choice Awards which are happening two Sundays in a row, so we're staying those weeks, and we fly back after the last one.

As for my nerves to this whole award season attention and media attention we've getting, has me getting more nervous with each day that passes and I know that Matt is gonna be there supporting me and all that but I'm still don't used to this shit and also, I don't want the attention to be on us. We're just actors nominated and who are supporting the show we worked on and that we're super proud of.

Miguel and Ryan, the producers already told us that they told the press to not ask question not related to the show and our work on it and is our choice if we wanna walk the red carpet together or separate or just go inside the venue where the award shows are being held.

But to be honest, I'm nervous and matt is too; I can tell are for the reasons as I am because we don't want people talking shit about things they don't know anything about.

"Babe, are you okay?" he says while we're holding hands and I have my head resting in his shoulder.

I looked at him and said: "yes, I just don't know what to do respecting the awards and all that crap. Do you think it'll be better for us to avoid the red carpet or walk together?". He looked at me and held my hand tighter.

"I don't wanna hide. We can still walk but without giving interviews and quickly enter the place or just go inside right away, but I don't wanna be away from you or pretend you're just a friend or a colleague; I'm not doing that." Matt says.

I said back: "me neither. My publicist told me we sitting in the same table with Paddy, Emma, Miguel and Ryan and it's kinda in the back so we can hope we're safe until our categories are announced."

"Yes, I heard that too and it's better that way. Being seated in the first couple of tables brings more attention. So, are we walking our first red carpet together?" he asked, and I hesitated for a second but locked eyes with matt and smiled.

"With you I'll always be ready for anything, but no interviews." He nods and kisses my hand.

Matt says: "we have a deal." He says looking at me and giving me a small kiss and then put his head back on top of mine.

Once we landed, we left the plane and put my hat and some sunglasses on, and matt did too and went straight to have our documents checked and then to pick our suitcases. Thankfully the lady who checked our passports and stuff was super nice and wished us luck and let us go.

Once we had everything, we saw there was a guy waiting for us and took us to his taxi and drove us to our hotel and in there we were gonna meet Ryan and Miguel who had already arrived for some dinner the day before. It's about 4pm in LA.

We got to the hotel and checked in and went to our room to rest and we order some food since we were hungry.

"So, we have like 20 minutes before our food arrives, do you wanna take a quick shower in the meantime?" he asked, and I smiled and can't believe I have the best human with me.

"Yes, I do, thanks babe." I go kiss him and hug him putting my arms around his waist "I love you."

"I love you too" he kissed me again and before it turns hot, I ran to the shower, and I hear him laughing and shaking his head.

20 minutes later I'm dressed in black jeans and a red t-shirt with my hair fresh since I'm letting dry alone. I go to the small living room area, and I see matt putting the food on the table with our drinks and he smiles at me.

"You are just in time babe, here you have" he says. I hugged him from behind and says: "thank you baby, this looks really good."

"Yes, it does. Ryan called and said we're meeting with them downstairs at the restaurant at 8 and it's 5.30, so I ordered something light" he says, and I kissed his cheek, "no problem and that's great. Is anyone else coming, have you heard?" he moves his head before answering.
