it's us against the world (milly's pov)

It's been a month and a half since our trip, and we are both back in London for a bit before Matt goes to film in Spain and I start working on my first play ever. It's called "The Crucible". I've been so excited about this project and matt has been so supportive and been there my biggest supporter along the way.

When we came back from the trip we were still in a high from what we lived there and how closer we got since then and especially with everything that has been thrown at us since we got back and I've been personally trying to stay off social media ever since our pictures from around town were released in some websites and people started talking about us and our personal lives, we both have been silent about it because is our lives and no one else's. Matt was pretty mad when our teams told us when we arrived home and I honestly expected it because we knew people were taking pictures and were so obvious about it but we were in our world and we were just a couple eating out nothing else, so in that sense I wasn't that mad but we both were pissed at the fact that people were selling them like popcorn or candy and were everywhere but it didn't last long just the nasty assholes that were trying to say stuff about us but I know my feelings towards Matt and I know how he feels about me and that's it.

I was busy with rehearsals and matt has been prepping to go back to house of the dragon in less than a month for now, but he's in rehearsals and read throughs of the scripts and I've doing scenes with him and what I've been able to read it's pretty amazing so far. Of course, I'm gonna miss the show and filming with matt but Emma is amazing and they're gonna kill it next season and I cannot wait to watch them on screen.

Matt and I in other news are almost done with our house search, we've seen a few and are two that we love and are so us, so once he has a longer break between filming we are gonna make the decision on choosing our house; for now, I still have my flat but I'm staying most days at matt's house since the theater is closer to his place than mine but I'm bringing Bobby to my flat when he goes back filming in location, once he films in a lot or where he can be comfortable and not stressed, Bobby goes with him.

I texted matt to tell him I'm done for the day and I'm on my way home:

"Hey babe, I'm done with rehearsals for the day and I'm now on my way to your place, do you want me to get some food on the way? I love you <3"

Not even 2 minutes later I received his answer:

"Hey, you, glad you're on your way, missed you. And no worries, I started cooking dinner and will be close to done once you get here"

"That sounds good, thanks babe. And I've missed you too, see you in a bit"

I opened the door to be welcomed by Bobby and I started playing with him a bit while I hear his laugh inside in the kitchen.

"Hey baby I missed you too, but can we play later? I'm gonna say hello to your dad", I said, and bobby got the sign and went to the other side of the kitchen where he has one of his beds. He moves his tail not giving a shit about what I said, and I laugh because he's so like matt in dog form and it's hilarious at times.

"Hello, my darling, how was your day?", he said while still cooking but looking my way while talking and I smiled at him.

"Hey, it was tiring but the play is coming together and I'm honestly so excited for this project and how has come along. What about you?", I said.

"I cannot wait to see you shine and be on that stage, you're gonna kill it babe", he moved over to me to give me a small a peck while going back to check the food, "and mine was fine, played with Bobby and I started doing some laundry and stuff like that. Haven't left the house the entire day."

"Oh, poor baby", I said while going to him and hugging him and he puts his arms around my waist, "I'm gonna miss you when you go back filming, especially at night when I don't have you next to me and as my favorite pillow."
