next chapter, part two (milly's pov)

I was being a nervous wreck and I've been for the last month or so. Since I've been auditioning for my biggest role since house of dragon and maybe bigger since this is a leading role and in another franchise which I'm so scared if this goes my way because of what it meant to be a part of game of thrones universe and this one is big but is also new with the changes they're making and opening the new chapter with this story and this character is a big deal and it's been a few weeks since I last heard anything from the team and the producers and I just can't help it. This is huge and it can help or break my career.

"Mills come here", he tells me since I was walking around the living room back and forth and he was sitting on the couch. - "Please everything is gonna go fine if it's meant to happen, but babe please breathe", he said. It's been three hours since my manager told me I might hear news today and it's almost dinner time in the UK and still nothing.

"I can't help it, this means a lot, I haven't been this nervous in my life, well since house of the dragon but still", I said frustrated.

"I know, but there's nothing you can do, just relax so you don't go insane", he stands up and comes closer to me and holds me in his arms.

"Whatever happens, I'm here for you always and you're the best, you gave everything you had on those auditions and I'm so proud of you regardless of the outcome."

"You really think so?", I said.

"I've always thought so, since I met you. You're amazing mills and it's their lost if they don't pick you, ok?", he started touching my face and cleaning my face from tears that were rolling down my face.

"Thank you. I don't know if I'd have made it through without your support these last couple of months", I said while looking at him and putting my hand on his cheek and he smiled at me and every time he does that I die inside.

"Nothing to thank me for babe, your talent speak for itself, but I'll gladly remind you how talented you're whenever you need me to. Now cheer up. How about we go to dinner and then comeback to watch a movie or something?", he said, and I love that idea.

"That sounds like a plan, I love you", I said. "I love you more", he says back.

He then kisses me, and we almost lost track of time, and we almost forgot we had plans to go out. I didn't know where he was taking me to, but I'd follow me anywhere. We went to our room to get ready, and we dressed nicely but nothing fancy and he looked at me like I was the only girl in the world, and I almost threw our plan out the window and take him right there and he laughed, and we went out the door.

I noticed he brought Bobby with us but in the car he explained he was going to stay with his mum for the night and I didn't suspect anything of it since he doesn't like Bobby to be alone too much at the house and he said he wanted us to have a nice time, so he called his mum while I was in the bathroom, and she is gonna dogsit him until tomorrow.

Once we got to the restaurant I smiled big at him since it was a sushi place and we both love sushi so much and one of the first dates we had when we still were sneaking around trying not get caught was to a sushi place when we were still filming the show before we didn't saw each other for a couple of months until San Diego when we were still in denial about our feelings.

"Sushi does bring memories from those days", I said while we sat down at our table in the back of the restaurant, and we didn't saw anyone giving us looks or anything like that.

"Same. That's why I brought you here and I wanted to cheer you up and I know you love sushi almost as much as I do but also, I've been thinking about those days a lot lately", he said.

"Really, why?", I asked back.

"I don't know, just been thinking about those days and how we connected and how everything started, and I think is because I'm back filming the show without you and you're also being auditioning more and more and doing projects, so I don't know those moments came back to me."
