a new beginning for us... (milly's pov)

It's been four days since the Golden Globes happened and since then me and matt both returned to London. I was about to finish filming the new music video for Noel Gallagher and Matt has started rehearsals for his new movie he's filming at the end of January and most of February.

I was back in my flat, even though I visit his place every day to check on Bobby since he's in another side of London and comes back late at night and leaves early in the morning. We have barely seen each other since we've been busy with work and our schedules are nuts, but matt has made the effort for the last two nights and have come to my place in order to spend time together and we've been also talking about how we're going to navigate long distance since our work schedules are just gonna get crazier in the next few weeks and months.

"I've missed you babe", I said while we were lying in my bed, and I had my head on his chest and had my hand in his stomach and he had his arm around my waist. "Me too, these last few days have been so tiring and the only thing that is calming me is having you next to me", he says while I melt, and he kisses my head.

"Matt we do need to talk about the next few months. You're going to be filming nonstop and then start filming the second season of the show and I have a few projects modeling and doing some fashion stuff while sending some tapes of auditions", I said, and we both let out a sigh trying not to think about what's coming.

"I know, is gonna be hard but we just have to make sure that we have time off in between just to breath and not going crazy and also been able to have a normal relationship and we can work around that schedule to see each other and be together even if we're away. Thankfully I'm staying in London with this first project and then will be close by in Spain and Portugal as of now. We can make it work. I'll everything in my power to make it work, because there's no way I'm ruining my relationship with you, and I don't ever wanna lose you."

"Neither do I. Yeah, I can go visit you on the weekends if you can't come back or are working those days and then you can come with me to Paris or Milan where I will be shooting some stuff if you're free. It'll be better once we have the full schedules mapped out. But I wanna try everything until we find the best way to keep this healthy and for the long run. I can't picture a life without you in it." I said while looking at him and giving him a small smile and he smiled back.

"That actually sounds really good", he smiles down at me with a grin on his face. "What? Do I have something on my face?", I asked, and he laughs. "No, I'm just looking at you and can't believe my luck by having you by my side, that's all."

"Well, I can say the same about you. You have always done everything in you since day 1 to have time for us and for yourself and is just one of the things that I love about you the most and I'm so lucky." I got teary saying the last part because it's true and I love this man with everything in me.

"And I will always do that, and I mean it, you're so special to me and I don't ever want our work to keeps us from growing this relationship or become an issue between us. We're both workaholics but also want to be with each other. We just have to adjust to this new reality for us and go from there." He says and touches my face and we smiled at each other.

"I know and you're right. We have to start from somewhere and see from there like we've been doing so far. This will be the longest time wise we are going to be away from each other since we started our relationship, but I've never been so sure about anything that we can make this work and that I love you more than anything."

"Me too, we can do this, and I am in this all the way. I love you so much, mills. Always will."

We smiled at each other, and he then kissed me, and we switched positions so I'm now on top of him and feel his hand all over my body and I start kissing his neck and playing with his hair which he has let it grew a bit and we kept doing this for a while just enjoying each other and being close with each other like this. When we finished making love twice, we ended up falling asleep at like 3 or 4 am since we both lost track of time.
