MBFR EPISODE 48 : THE PRECIPICE

CLYDE'S POV

The green wide surrounding looks peaceful as the cold wind nuzzles on my face.  I scrutinize the whole place, there are white cemented thing that is rectangular in shape, the green grass growing around it and a tall trees sheltering it.

The place is perfect for someone who have a tired soul, for someone who fought so hard to win in life, for someone who just wishes to vanish in this world, and or maybe for someone who just want to remember all the happy memories they spent with someone.

I look up and witness the bluer sky and birds that are flying freely in the air. And I realized that human are just like birds, we need somewhere or someone we can call as home, somewhere or someone we can lean on when the thought on our heads became heavier, and somewhere and someone that serves as a medal for us to strive harder.

Sooner or later, this green grass will turn brown. This abundant leaves will someday fall on the ground and decompose.

Someday, these tall trees will lose their strength and will let themselves sway by a strong wind.

However, not all things that was perished will be totally gone and forgotten. Some of them stays on our pockets just like the beautiful flowers we captured on spring, the snow man we build on winter, the red-orange leaves we collect on autumn, and the starfish we embrace on summer.

All of those things will have their new face and new survival when the new season begins. Just like how water grows the plant, just like how water refresh every leaves and just like how water feed the humans.

That's the reason why the earth's surface was composed of 71 percent of water because water means hope, water means surviving, and water means even though some thing has failed to exist that doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.

My sight fall on the grayish calligraphed name that is right before my feet. I laid down the bouquet of flower that I am holding.

Kumuha din ako ng kandila at nagsindi sa gilid ng kaniyang libingan, "It might be too late but I want you to know that I really...really love your daughter and I want to ask for your permission to marry her."
