MBFR EPISODE 45 : LOVE AT FIRST GLANCE
CLYDE'S POV
"I just married you but that doesn't mean I have loved you, Therese!"
My mother was kneeling on the floor, crying her heart out. My father is just standing there, no other emotions; just a man standing heartless!
That phrase occupied my entire child hood. The scene kept flashing on my mind every time I close my eyes and every time it happened, I can't cease my tears from falling.
How could he betray the woman who stands by his side all this time! How could he do that to her when she didn't left any on herself for loving him!
I had seen him with other women for many times, and I can't feel any love but only hatred and regrets! I really hate my father that I wish his surname to disappear in my being!
I was seven years old when I promised myself to not follow his path in the future. I promised myself to love one woman except my mother and my sister.
"Hey.. do you want to play with me?"
She break off in crying and peeked at me, her gaze fell to the ball I am holding. I'm a bit stiffed when I saw her face. She has a plump shaped visage, her eyes were moistened yet it shows how unimpeachable they are.
"Who are you?" she queried with a hoarse input, "We're not even friends why would you ask me to play?" she emitted again.
"If you're with the bullies, just leave me alone." Pagpapatuloy nito.
I find her bangs enchanting; it complemented on her face. Her risque lips and bridged nose. I find them all beckoning to the point that I can't stop staring at her.
"I don't have friends, we just moved here recently," I pointed the house. It has white roof, a white grills painted terrace and merely meters away from us .
She followed my hand and nodded, "They say I will not have many friends because I am fat and ugly," she smiled melancholy as she wiped her cheeks.
I feel disheartened for her, there's nothing wrong with her. In fact, I found her charming and cute.
"Do you.. want me to be your friend?" I handed her a candy from the pocket of my shorts. Her face glimmers and I saw excitement on her brown eyes that made my heart thump faster.
