[Mr. Incredible and Marcher Girl exit out of a pod, and proceed to open one of two double doors into a large dining room, with a long dining table and magma flowing all along the wall to their left. They look at their watches, and proceed to enter, but suddenly, the magma flow opens up as Mirage, Paul, a mysterious woman, and a mysterious man come through, with the mysterious man and woman very quietly whispering to Mirage and Paul something, while Mr. Incredible and Marcher Girl hide behind the door, while peeping through.]
Mysterious Man/Syndrome (very quietly): Most important, keep things light. Praise him. Make him feel like we appreciate his abilities.
Mysterious Woman/The Lying Devil (very quietly): Most important, keep things light. Praise her. Make her feel like we appreciate her abilities.
[The mysterious man and woman walk off, as Mirage and Paul proceed to open both double doors, noticing Mr. Incredible and Marcher Girl pretending to have just arrived.]
Mr. Incredible: Am I overdressed?
Mirage: Actually, you two look rather dashing.
[They head to the dining table and sit.]
Marcher Girl: I take it our hosts are...
Paul: Oh, I'm sorry. They won't be dining with us. They hope you two will understand.
Mr. Incredible: Of course. I and Marcher Girl do usually make it a point to know who we're working for.
Mirage: They prefer a certain amount of anonymity. Surely, you two of all people understand that.
Marcher Girl: I was just wondering, of all the places to settle down, why live...
Paul: With a volcano? He's and she's attracted to power. So am I and Mirage. It's a weakness we share.
Mr. Incredible: Seems a bit unstable.
Mirage: I prefer to think of it as misunderstood.
Marcher Girl [chuckling]: Aren't we all?
Paul: Volcanic soil is among the most fertile on Earth. Everything at the table was grown right here. How does it compare?
Mr. Incredible: Everything's delicious.
[Life's incredible again. Bob starts to spend more time with Helen and his kids, gets two new cars, and gets back in shape and Maddie spends more time with Lucius and her kids.]
