I told Lando everything. Why I left, what Millie told me and my feelings for him.
There were a lot of tears on both sides but it was something we needed.
We never saw each other so vulnerable, it definitely made us grow closer together.

It was late when we fell asleep. I rolled over and saw Lando laying next to me. I cuddled up to him and kissed his shoulder a couple of times.
He grumbled as he turned around and wrapped his arms around me. "Since when are you a morning person?" He chuckled as he kissed the top of my head. "Since I can wake up next to the most handsome man in the world" I looked up to him. He smiled and his hand brushed against my back.
"I am gonna grab a coffee" I said as I kissed his chest. The picture didn't lie. He worked out a lot and it was showing.
I definitely didn't deserve such a perfect guy but for some reason he wanted me too. I was incredibly lucky and I would do anything to keep him happy.

I was sitting on the kitchen counter with my coffee as Lando walked in. His curls were still a mess and he looked pretty tired but he looked more handsome than ever.
"Hi beautiful love of my life" he said as he opened my legs and was standing between them. "Hi handsome" I giggled as I wrapped my legs around his waist. "What are the plans today?" He asked which made me shrug my shoulders.
Most of the times I did literally nothing. "Then we will throw an amazing barbecue, just like your mom did" he said enthusiastically.
"I have literally no one to invite baby, it would be pretty lame" it actually made me realize that I lost all my friends, except for Scott.
"Ey, my friends absolutely adore you and my family really want to meet you" it would be better than doing nothing all day.
"Alright then. Let's do this" I said and he immediately smiled. Maybe he was even more excited for this than I was.

"This will be a barbecue your mom would be proud of" he said as he grabbed his phone and kissed my lips quickly. He started to call people and I just looked at him.
I had no one to invite except Scott. I looked at my phone. Maybe I could invite my sister too but she could ruin it instantly.
I decided to text her anyways. It would be rude not to invite her to something our mom used to organize.

Lando was honestly a great host. A couple of drivers who were in England came, his friends and family also arrived.
It was gonna be the first time I met his family so I was pretty nervous.
"Baby, these are my mom and dad" he walked to me as he was joined by his parents. He stood next to me, his arm was wrapped around my waist.
"Mom, dad, this is the girl I talked about" So he talked about me to them? I smiled a little at them. I wanted to shake their hands but they immediately pulled me in a hug. "Avery, it's so nice to finally meet you and you have a beautiful house" his mom said. He definitely didn't tell them he actually owned half of it.
"Thank you so much. It's so good to finally meet you too" Lando brushed my back softly. He was trying to comfort me.

We talked for a little while until they went to see Lando's brother.
Lando turned to me and kissed my forehead softly. I put my head against his chest and looked around.
"Thank you for this Lando, this is amazing" it was like we created our own little family. It was mostly his family but he gladly invited me in it, so it was time to invite him into mine too.
"Are you ready to meet my sister?" I looked up at him and he nodded.
I regretted it instantly when I saw her holding a couple of bottles "But prepare yourself please"
He nodded as he looked at me. "I am dating you so I can handle a lot" we both laughed as I rolled my eyes.

"Hi Sienna, I want you to meet my boyfriend" I was hoping she would keep it together and be nice for once. "Hi I'm Lando, nice to meet you" he was charming as always and she actually smiled at him. "Lando, I have seen your face around. What do you do for a living?" I was surprised she could actually still make sentences.
"I drive in circles and stream on Twitch" he jokingly said. "He's a formula one driver" I explained better. "Oh, good job sister, now I get how you could buy me out to buy mom's house" she pointed at Lando with a smirk on her face. Well she wasn't wrong but it was still quite embarrassing. "I have no idea what you're talking about but you should definitely try Max's sausage" Lando said. My sister and I both looked at each other confused.
He kissed my cheek quickly and whispered "Trust me" as he took Sienna to his friends.
I had no idea which Max he was talking about, because they were both here.
I saw him introducing her to the both of them as he gave her a plate with sausages, just like he promised.
I chuckled a little when he looked at me. I quickly gave him a thumbs up. He definitely saved me there.

I looked around, everyone was enjoying themselves and got along great.
My mom would definitely have liked Lando and she would've loved this. We definitely had to do this more often.

Win the love of my life back: check. The next thing on my list was to face my demons.
Walk in the paddock, face my previous boss and the girl that lied to my face every damn time.
But I was gonna do that with Lando by my side.
