Lando and I walked in the paddock together. He was holding my hand as we both scanned our paddock pass.
"Are you going to the media center or do you wanna come to our hospitality?" He asked as we stopped in front of his hospitality.
"I have to meet Scott, he wanted to talk to me so I'll see you later baby" I said. He nodded and kissed me before walking in his hospitality.
I actually couldn't wait to go see Scott. I wanted to know what he wanted to tell me.

I rushed to the media center. We agreed on meeting each other there.
He was already sitting on a table, working on his laptop. "Hi you, are you ready for our meeting?" I chuckled. He looked up and put his laptop to the side, pointing to the chair in front of him.
I guess he was very serious about this.
I sat down and crossed my arms. "Our boss got fired" he started. I was actually happy to hear that, did they finally realize what a bastard he was?
"Good riddance" I mumbled. "They asked me to replace him and I obviously said yes" he tried to be serious but I saw a little smile on his face.
"Oh my God. You idiot, I thought you were gonna quit or something. I am so happy for you" I wanted to get up and hug him but he put his hand up. Telling me to wait.
There was more.
"So I want you to replace me. I want you to come back to us Avery" I didn't expect this, I didn't know if I wanted to go back. Scott would be my boss, so that would be good, or awkward. I didn't know yet.
"I don't know Scott, I just started with Sky and.." he didn't let me finish. "C'mon, don't act like you're happy there" he interrupted me.
He was right, I loved my job at Netflix way more.
"Fine but I wanna date drivers, or one in particular" I smirked. He nodded and put his hand in front of me. "That's a deal miss Reese" we shook hands as we were both laughing.
"Can I hug you now?" I asked and he immediately got up and opened his arms.
It definitely wasn't appropriate to hug your boss but he was my best friend right now and I wanted to congratulate him. He worked so hard for this, he deserved this.

I walked out of the media center with a smile on my face. Unfortunately I couldn't work with Alexis anymore. My new colleague just walked in the media center, Lori. She pretty much ignored me all the time so that was gonna be pretty awkward when we would have to work together.

I had a few more hours before I had to start working so I decided to spend it with Lando, or atleast in his hospitality.
I walked through the paddock when I saw Max and Kelly walking in together. I titled my head as I looked at them.
I guess Lando and I were pretty good at playing cupid. He kissed her cheek as she walked in the Red Bull hospitality. Max didn't walk in, he was walking to me with a smile on his face.
"Thank you so much" he said as he hugged me. I smiled through the hug. I was so happy for him, for them and for myself as well. We were definitely going on many double dates.
"So you both talked it out?" He nodded at my question. "We talked all evening, she is coming to more races and I will spend more time with her" he explained. I guess Lando and I had it easy, we both worked here, we both had to be here.
"We needed this talk and you made that happen" he continued. I shook my head a little. "Lando and I did" I had to give him a little credit too. "You guys are my favorite couple" he chuckled as he turned around but I quickly grabbed his arm to make him turn around again.
"And don't forget Max, you have me in your corner as well" he didn't know how to respond to that. He didn't need to respond. I could see how he was feeling by the smile on his face.

I wasn't gonna tell him yet that I would annoy him again with my camera's pretty soon.
I was gonna tell Lando first, I wanted him to know everything first.
