Avery's POV

I was grabbing my stuff. I was happy Lando agreed to go to Monaco, I didn't want him to run into Nate. I didn't want to either.
I wouldn't come back for a couple of weeks and it was the first time I was actually happy about that.
My bruises were much better, they were barely visible.
Just as I was about to walk out my phone buzzed a few time. I immediately smiled when I saw his name.

I arrived in Monaco
Ready for you to arrive

"Baby" Lando immediately pulled me into a hug as soon as he opened the door. I didn't even have the chance to come in, he was already kissing me all over my face.
I guess this was what real love felt like. I wasn't afraid when I was with him, I felt safe. He would never hurt me, I was sure about that.
"Fuck I missed you" I said as I put my face in his neck.
He picked me up and closed the door behind us. I didn't even know where he was going but not long after I felt his couch against my back.
I opened my arms and he immediately laid down next to me.
We cuddled for what felt like hours. It's funny how people can change you.
Lando definitely changed me for the better.
I just wasn't sure how I should tell him about what happened. I wasn't even sure if I should tell him.
I didn't want him to do anything stupid, I also didn't want him to think I was stupid for staying this long with a guy who treated me like shit.
"How are you baby? What happened?" He asked. It was the question I was trying to avoid. I wanted to tell him, I wanted so badly but I didn't.
"Just a stupid accident. I am okay though" I said with a smile, but there was nothing to smile about. It didn't make me strong for not telling him. It made me weak and pathetic.
"You're sure?" He asked as he brushed his fingers softly over my bruises. I just nodded.
It was easy to judge from the outside. Why didn't I just tell him? Why don't I communicate with him? You can trust him, he won't do anything stupid.
It's easy when you're not in that situation.
Things were going so well between us lately, I just didn't want this or Nate to come between that.

Lando grabbed the tv remote and put Netflix on. "I know a fun show. We should definitely watch together" he said with a little smile.
He grabbed me by my waist and pulled me on top of him. "Yeah? What is it?" I didn't have to wait long before I had my answer because he already put Drive to survive on.
I rolled my eyes laughing. "Did you watch it already?" I asked and he shook his head. He was in for a surprise because one of the first scenes was actually him and Sofia.
"Oh fuck, you actually left that in?" He laughed. It probably didn't bother him that much.
"I had nothing to do with that. I only filmed stuff" I explained, I quit before they started to edit it.
I already watched all of it, they did a pretty decent job but they deleted a lot of scenes we filmed.
Lando started laughing as the scene with Toto and Christian came on. I looked at him, I was so in love with him and his laugh definitely was the best thing about him.
I put my head on his chest and he immediately started brushing his fingers over my back.
I felt safe with him, I was so happy but I knew I had to go back home soon, I had to face Nate again. I didn't want to think about that just yet. I wanted to enjoy this moment.
I looked up at Lando, he noticed that I was looking at him and looked back at me.
"What baby?" He said with a smile on his face. "Nothing, I'm just so in love with you" his face changed a little, I saw how his eyes lightened up.
"Fuck, you're perfect. I am so in love with you Avery" he got up from the couch and picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and looked at him. "What are you doing?" I asked as he brought me to the bedroom. "I already cuddled you, now I'm gonna finger and pleasure you" he smirked as he looked down at me.
I giggled a little and put my head against his chest.
I was definitely ready for that. I was ready for everything with him.
