I decided to go to Australia a bit earlier to beat the jetlag. I guess every driver did that, we had to. Avery said she would come a little later. I was happy about that because I actually didn't want to face her, even though I knew I had to. I was done with being the fool.
To beat the jetlag, Carlos invited me to hang out and walk through the city for a bit. "Muppet, what's going on between Avery and you? Why is she not here yet?" Carlos asked and I just shrugged my shoulders. "She said she went to England so she's coming later" he frowned a little. "She said? But you don't believe her?" I shook my head. "I know she is lying. Where is Charles?" He looked confused by my question but it didn't take him very long to understand what I was trying to say. "He didn't arrive yet" and that was exactly what I meant. I didn't need to explain it to Carlos. He got what he was trying to say.

After a full day with Carlos, I walked back in my hotel. I was pretty hungry so I actually just wanted to order roomservice and play a little CS with my friends. "Lori? Is Netflix staying in this hotel as well?" I looked at her confused as she was standing in the lobby of the hotel. "No, we had a meeting with Zak and now I am just looking for a place to get food" she pointed at her phone. "I was about to order roomservice, you want some?" She looked at me, she was a little hesitant at first but she quickly nodded. "Yes, that would be nice actually" we both walked up to my room. She looked around as we walked in. "Mclaren treats you right" she chuckled. She sat down on my bed and pointed at my laptop. "What games do you play?" I was actually surprised by her question. "Right now I am always playing CS with my friends. You play too?" She nodded. "I have never played CS but I do play other games"
I smirked at her. I was about to play anyways, so maybe she could join as well. "You wanna play? You play and I'll talk to my friends. You'll probably still have more kills than them" she smiled as she nodded. "Yes let's do that" she said enthusiastically and that's exactly what we did. I explained her everything and ordered roomservice while she was playing. She was actually pretty good. "You're pretty good today Lando" Max Fewtrell said. Lori nudged me laughing. I decided not to tell them that I wasn't the one who was playing. I knew some of them were streaming and I didn't want to explain things to them or to the entire world.
"That was so much fun, thanks Lando" Lori said as she was eating. "Thanks to you, I had a great time too" we both were just smiling at each other. "So I saw your last name on Instagram. Are you Spanish?" She nodded. "My dad is Spanish" she explained. I figured so much. "Anyways, I should go. Thanks for helping me to beat this jetlag" she said as she got up. I didn't want her to go but honestly I should go to sleep as well. "Good night Lori, I will see you tomorrow probably" I got up and pulled her into a hug. She probably didn't expect that but she quickly wrapped her arms around me and hugged me goodnight.
Not much later I was laying in bed, alone again. Just like the previous days but that was about to change.

I had no choice but to wait for her. She was lucky because I was too tired to confront her. I opened the door and she didn't hesitate for a minute. She immediately wrapped her arms around me and kissed my lips a few times. We didn't talk much, we were both pretty jetlagged so we just laid down in bed together. It was like she really missed me because she couldn't keep her hands to herself. She was kissing my chest as if she didn't just cheat on me. I was starting to doubt everything. "Are you okay baby?" She looked up at me. Maybe I was just a fool for her but I couldn't deny that I was hopelessly in love with her. "I am very good, just tired" It wasn't a complete lie. "We will have a chill day tomorrow okay? Just visit the city for a while" she said with a smile on her face. That damn smile. I nodded. "Sounds good baby" not long after she fell asleep in my arms and I was doubting everything.
Maybe I shouldn't confront her, maybe I should just trust her? My mind was telling me that I should just dump her because she was obviously cheating, but my heart, my fucking heart told me that she was the love of my life.
