It was stupid to think that she would text or call me. Needless to say, she didn't. She kept the money though, so I guess she really needed it. I decided to send her money every month, I knew her, she would use it to do good things, not to buy purses or other useless stuff.
"Mate, can you cheer up a little bit? We have a stream in half an hour" Max Fewtrell talked through our Discord. I was in Monaco at my place and he was back in England. He had a girlfriend now, so he spend most of his time with her. I was happy for him, he really deserved it. "Yeah yeah I know. I will be happy don't worry about it" I replied. We were gonna announce our new Quadrant member, I asked Kayla to join us and she immediately said yes. "I am gonna start my stream now Max" I said as I opened Twitch. As soon as I started streaming my chat went crazy, it was always like that, I could hardly read it. "Hi chat, very exciting news because we have a new Quadrant member, most of you know her already though. It's Kayla" I said with a smile on my face. "So for people who don't know her, first of all, where have you been? But we are gonna play CS with her" I said as I loaded the game.

Of course they thought I was dating her, I literally couldn't be friends with a girl without dating her. I had to admit that she was really cute and definitely my type but I still wasn't completely over Avery. I don't know how long it was gonna take, I never experienced this before.

It was pretty boring to be alone in Monaco. I scrolled through my messages with Avery. It was mostly me talking to myself for the last few months. Why was I so bothered that she ghosted me? I really thought we had something special but I guess not. I sighed as I threw my phone next to me on the bed and stared at the ceiling. My phone lit up a couple of times, I quickly grabbed it but obviously it wasn't Avery.

Not much later Max and I were standing in the club. I had my usual smile on my face but he knew me too well. He knew I was still very much thinking about Avery. "Still haven't heard from her?" He put his hand on my shoulder as he kinda yelled. I shook my head. "Maybe it's time to forget her mate" maybe he was right, she probably wasn't thinking about me either. I looked at the girls in the club, they were all beautiful and probably ready to have a one night stand, just as how it started with Avery. "But what if I can't?" I looked at him. He sighed and patted my shoulder. "Then you have to go get her" I nodded. I knew where she lived, I knew she would be at her mom's house.
He was right. I had to go to her and end this for myself. I needed to know why she just dropped me like that or I would never be able to move on. Fuck it, I was going back to England.
