Chapter 15
A few days after Serena recovered, she was laying in her bed resting, when there was a knock on her door. Serena calls out, "Who is it?" She heard a voice say, "Serena it's me, Loki" Serena then said, "Come in Loki." She heard the door open and then shut. Serena was glad to hear his voice. Loki came into Serena's bedroom. Loki asked Serena, "How are you feeling, Serena?" Serena answered, "Better, just sore and weak." Serena said, "The healers said that I would have a nasty scar on my shoulder, which I really hate." Loki asked Serena, "Would you mind if I put my hands on your shoulder?" Serena asked, "Why?" Loki tells her, "I have healing powers and I might be able to remove the scar from your shoulder." Serena looks at Loki in surprise. She didn't know that Loki had that kind of power. Serena finally said, "I guess it would be ok." So Loki leaned over and put his hands gently on her wounded shoulder. Then he closed his eyes and a green glow came from his hands. When he lifted his hands from Serena's shoulder, the scar and the pain was gone. Serena was shocked and pleased that it worked. Serena exclaimed, "That's AMAZING!" Loki responded, "No, not really. It's just part of my magic that I have." Serena was beaming, "Thank you." Loki smiled at Serena.
Loki looked into Serena's eyes. Then said, "I'm so glad that you are ok. I was so afraid I was going to lose you. I couldn't bear that." Serena dropped her head in a shy manner. Loki put his hand under Serena's chin and lifted her face up so that her eyes met his. Then leaned over and gently and softly kissed her lips. Serena, to her surprise, found herself kissing him back. Loki deepens the kiss, which Serena responds to. She couldn't understand why she was responding to his kisses. The only thing she could figure out is that she had fallen in love with him too. When Loki ended the kiss, he looked into Serena's eyes and asked, "You love me too, don't you?" Serena answered in a low voice, "Yes, I do but I know I shouldn't, but I just can't help myself." Loki smiled at Serena and said, "There's nothing wrong with you loving me."
