Eventually, we had to leave all the animals to get started on the potion. Sebastian helped me collect all the ingredients on the table and lay them out in the proper amounts according to the book. Sebastian was talented with potions, we had spent many late nights last year working on homework for Potions Class. I had a lot I needed to catch up on since I had come to Hogwarts so late and Sebastian had been one of my best, and favorite tutors. Now that we had kissed I don't know how we hadn't last year, but we were both so preoccupied with a million other things. Any spare time we had was spent researching a cure for Anne.
I looked up at him, he was leaning against the wall reading over a book, flipping through to different pages. He must have felt my eyes on him because looked up at me, flashing me a charming smile. My heart fluttered and I moved away from the ingredients to remove some of my extra clothing.
All of the extra padding I had on was becoming cumbersome and I did not need all of the extra protection to make the potion, if anything, it would get in the way. After stripping everything off except for my black blouse and black leather trousers I rolled up my sleeves. I finally unbuttoned the collar a bit, because it was becoming stifling. I felt Sebastian's eyes burning into me as I undid an extra button just to tease him slightly.
I began tying my hair up in a high ponytail, still not meeting Sebastian's heated gaze, and coyly asked, "Enjoying the view Sallow?"
I finally let my gaze fall on him as he released a low chuckle. "Very much." Sebastian didn't move and instead appraised me with a tight jaw.
I walked over and grabbed onto Sebastian's vest, kissing him softly, taunting him. Then I looked up at him through my eyelashes. "Are you going to be helpful or are you just going to stand here distracting me?"
He sighed dramatically and backed away from me, removing his extra clothing as well. I chose to watch him as unapologetically as he had watched me, and he knew that. He took his sweet time removing his bracers, gloves, and vest. His shirt collar was already unbuttoned, revealing some of his broad chest and my teasing stare became more and more blatant. Sebastian leaned forward, bracing himself against the table with his hands, and looked at me through his thick, dark lashes. "What do you need, potion master?" He smiled at me knowingly.
I let my eyes linger on him a moment longer and then shook my head with a laugh. It was all I could do to clear my head. I needed this potion, I needed to sleep. "Hold the book and tell me what to do," I directed.
"You do enjoy me telling you want to do, don't you?" he teased.
I blushed. "Knock it off, Sebastian." Because if you don't I won't be able to control myself.
It took a while to brew the potion properly, Sebastian stepped in and helped a few times, but also distracted me with feathered kisses and temping touches. Once all of the ingredients were added in, it needed to sit, simmering in the cauldron for two hours, requiring occasional stirring to prevent it from burning.
"You can head back to the common room if you want, Sebastian. It's pretty late. I can finish it up," I advised, as the potion made low gurgling noises. Sebastian came up behind me and warped his arms around my waist.
"I don't mind staying," he responded and kissed my neck. "What would you like to do?" His voice sent a chill down my spine and I leaned into him, closing my eyes.
There was a loud popping noise and a crash. We both snapped our heads in the direction of the noise to see that a bed appeared in the room. My heart dropped as Sebastian barked out a laugh and turned towards me.
