-Sebastian-

As soon as Ominis walked into the Undercroft I shoved him into the wall next to the door. With my forearm on his chest I held my wand underneath his chin.

"What in the bloody hell, Ominis?!" I growled out. There was such a loud voice in my head screaming at me to make him feel the pain that I felt, the all consuming betrayal and hurt. I knew that the voice in my head wanted and wished that I could cast Crucio on him. My fingers itched to cast it.

"Are you serious?!" Ominis shouted. "Get the hell off of me Sebastian!"

"Cru-" the words caught in my throat. I couldn't do it, despite all the anger and pain I had right now I couldn't cast it correctly. All I could see when I looked at Ominis was the little eleven year old kid who snuck me into the restricted section of the library and then got us off the hook with the Headmaster. He had been my first real friend and I couldn't bring myself to cast the curse that had caused him so much pain as a child. My wand sagged from under his chin but I did not release him.

"Depulso!" Ominis called out and I flew back into a pillar. The force of the impact knocked the wind out of me and I doubled over with a frustrated groan.

"You dare try to use dark magic on me Sebastian!" Ominis practically roared. "Levioso!"

"Protego!" I casted quickly, blocking his spell. "Stupefy!"

   Ominis blocked.

He held up his shield and I used a basic cast on his shield over and over again. "How dare you! You bastard!" His shield fell and in that instant I cast Expelliarmus. He dropped his wand and I casted Depulso knocking his back into the wall near the door. He dropped to his knees and glared.

"You don't deserve her Sebastain! You corrupted her with the dark arts! Used her! Hurt her! All you've ever done is hurt her!" he bellowed and called his wand to him. His wand almost seemed to be able to read his mind sometimes.

"You don't think I know that?! I hate myself everyday for what I did?! To you! To Anne! To Solomon! And especially to her!!" I shouted. "You don't have to tell me how terrible I am! I already bloody know!"

"Petrificus Totalus!" Ominis shouted and I dodged behind a pillar narrowly avoiding becoming petrified.

"Then you know I'm right!" Ominis yelled as he waved his wand. He was one of the most gifted wizards with his wand. Normally someone would underestimate him because of his lack of sight, but I knew how truly skilled he was. His blindness was far from a disadvantage. It was his strength, especially here in the Undercroft. I had chosen my battleground poorly. "She deserves more than you can offer her," he replied matter-of-factly.

I lunged out from behind the pillar as Ominis knocked it down. Sending debris flying everywhere. It was all I could do to simply avoid being hit by the crumbling remains of the pillar. I stopped a large piece of stone mid air as it hurdled towards my face. Then I sent it flying towards Ominis. Without uttering a word, and simply a flick of his wand the stone flew back in my direction.

"Bombarda!" I shouted, causing it to explode near Ominis.

He shielded himself too late as a chunk of stone caught him in the gut.

"And you think you're it?" I barked out a laugh, as Ominis returned to his feet. His left arm holding his stomach.

"Do not mock me Sebastain!" he sneered. "I care for her." He casted another spell that I dodged and then had to immediately shield myself from getting frozen as he casted Glacius.

"You 'care' for her?!" I exclaimed in disbelief, and shot back a volley of basic spells that he easily shielded.

"Yes! And I can't sit by and watch you ruin her!" Ominis growled out. As I was distracted by his words he casted levioso and I flew in the air. He immediately casted descendo and I was chucked to the ground like a ragdoll.

I groaned in pain. Everything hurt. I stood, despite my body's protests. "I know!" I growled back.

"Well then if you already 'know' all of this then why don't you simply just leave her alone!?" His anger was palpable as he raised his wand to cast another spell.

"Because I love her Ominis!" I shot back. My eyes widened at my own words.

Ominis froze, his wand still raised. I heard a loud clang as I went to cast another spell. Suddenly I was knocked to the ground. I saw Ominis fall at the same time. What the hell was that?! What just happened?

"What is going on in here?!" I heard Ronnie exclaim. My heart dropped. The loud clang that I had heard was the Undercroft doors opening.

I groaned, being knocked to the ground again awakened the pain that seemed to be all over my body. I touched my mouth and felt blood on my lip. I stood slowly and saw Ronnie standing in front of the door. Her eyes were red and puffy and she was still in her Quidditch uniform. The hurt of her confession crashing back into me felt worse than the injuries I had. I looked at Ominis who was rubbing his head. She must have used ancient magic to be able to knock the both of us out flat without even needing to use a spell.

I didn't know what to say. The adrenaline started to wear off and my body sagged in response to the physical pain that called for my attention.

"Sebastian..." she said softly as he eyes scanned me. I must look horrific. I wiped the blood from my lip as she turned to Ominis.

"You guys..." her voice cracked. I knew this was why she had hesitated to tell me. She hadn't wanted this to happen.

"We're fine..." Ominis grumbled out. His right eye was beginning to swell, most likely a result of the stone exploding so close to him.

I turned and casted Repairo on the Undercroft. Ominis followed my example and helped in repairing the Undercroft that we had completely destroyed.

Once we were done we both turned back to Ronnie. The tension in the room was tangible, and I could not stand to be here a moment longer. I couldn't even look at the two of them. I walked forward, avoiding Ronnie's eyes. I felt her gab my arm before I could walk out the door and she placed something in my hand. I didn't bother looking at it until I was out of the suffocating atmosphere of the Undercroft.

Once I was out I looked at what she had given me. Wiggenweld. I couldn't help but smile slightly.
