-Ronnie-

"Okay, I'm ready," I proclaimed and turned to face Sebastian, crossing my legs in front of me.

"Oh no, I'm not doing it," Sebastian flashed me a quick apologetic smile.

"What?" My brows knit in confusion. "Why not?"

"He's too rough," Ominis responded plainly.

Sebastian sinckered.

"I'll be fine..." I rolled my eyes.

Sebastian choked out a laugh before attempting to cover it with a fake cough.

"No, Ominis is way better and more experienced at it than I am," he admitted. "Probably the only things he's better than me at." Sebastian laughed, easing the mood.

"Arrogant sod," Ominis huffed with an amused smile.

I shifted on the couch to face Ominis, scooting back against Sebastian's side and returning my legs crisscrossed in front of me as Sebastian continued. "Every time I do it to Ominis we both end up with splitting headaches. Plus he can teach more than I can about how to defend your mind."

"There's a finesse required to enter someone's mind, especially for the first time," Ominis agreed.

I felt Sebastian's body shake as he struggled to not laugh at every double entendre.

This conversation was bizarre for so many reasons. The main one being how nonchalantly they were talking about this.

"I promise I won't push too hard Ronnie-"

Sebastian lost it and broke out in a loud laugh. He threw his head back, his body shaking against mine and I couldn't help but laugh along with him. After a moment of Sebastian and I falling into a fit of laughter, Ominis joined in. The sound of our laughter just added to how funny the whole situation was. I was laughing so hard that my stomach started to ache and I snorted causing all of us to laugh even harder.

"The two of you are completely ridiculous!" I wheezed out.

"It was all Ominis darling!" Sebastian protested still struggling to get a hold of his laughter.

"I was talking about Legimancy!" Ominis snorted. "You two are the ones who are so immature to think I was talking about anything else!"

"Oh, bullocks Ominis!" I shouted laughing again.

"You're so full of shit Om!" Sebastian chuckled.

Ominis smirked and then stood laughing through his nose.

"Okay, okay! I'll stop," Ominis held his hands up in surrender. "I really just want to teach you the basics of how to defend your mind. I'm honestly surprised Professor Figg didn't teach it to you with how many people you had after you last year."

I tucked my hair behind my ear and Sebastian brought his arm from its resting spot on the back of the couch behind me and wrapped it around me. He tugged me close and kissed the top of my head. I was surprised but also not that Figg hadn't taught me. We had both been incredibly busy, I don't even know when he would have had time to teach me.

"Fine..." I grumbled and cozied up against Sebastian. It was a good skill to have and I'd rather learn from someone who knew how to teach me. "But Ominis... don't you need to...- I mean... How do- For Legimancy don't you-" I wasn't sure how to phrase it. "I thought you needed to look into someone's eyes to perform Legimancy...?"

Ominis chuckled, his sightless gaze falling beyond the coffee table with a wide grin. I felt Sebastian chuckle against my back.

"Typically yes, but seeing as that's not exactly possible, I've figured out another way," he smirked and came to sit beside me on the couch but since I was already turned completely sideways he was directly in front of me. He held both his hands put as a gesture for me to take hold of them.
