Ominis pulled out some candies and passed us each one. "Have you had one of these before?" he asked me.

"No, I don't think so," I responded, examining the candy.

"They're Fire Imps. You'd know if you've had one," Sebastian chuckled and leaned forward, draping his arms over both mine and Ominis' shoulders. It made me so happy to see him like this again. "Just watch," he laughed at me and popped a candy in his mouth. Ominis tried to move away but Sebastian held onto him.

I watched confused as Ominis tiled his head as far away from Sebastian as he could but then Sebastian opened his mouth and fire shot out as if he were a dragon. I yelped and flinched away, the heat nearly singeing my eyebrows off.

Ominis popped a candy in his mouth and breathed out fire so close to Sebastian that he released him. Sebastian threw his head back in laughter

We all took turns breathing fire and joking around until we reached Hogsmeade.

  ...

"Tell us about the Muggle world?" Sebastian asked a little louder than appropriate from the drinks he had thrown back.

I giggled. "Well just imagine what it would be like without magic. That's basically it," I replied.

   "I can't imagine!" Ominis laughed.

"Is there anything else different?" Sebastian wondered. "What was your life like growing up?" He questioned his eyes alight with wonder and curiosity.

"My grandmother was a hard woman... She made sure I was a proper lady," I laughed as I stood and grabbed a fake shirt and curtsied to them.

Sebastian barked out a laugh. "Such a fine young woman you are," he teased and bowed his head to me.

"Oh yes," Ominis chuckled. "When I think of a proper lady the first thing that comes to mind is Ms. Veronica Underhill," he said sarcastically.

"Well she made sure that I knew all the lady-like skills. Like playing the piano, needle point, reading, writing, and painting." I shook my head.

"You know how to do all of that?!" Sebastian asked in surprise.

"You know how to play the piano?" Ominis wondered at the same time.

"I was never a very good painter and I wasn't fond of sitting still and practicing my needle work, but I did love playing the piano," I responded.

"I play the piano too! We'll have to play together sometime!" Ominis offered excitedly.

"Oh I'm not very good Ominis! I'm sure you are better than me," I replied quickly, my cheeks reddening.

"You'll have to teach me so I'm not such an unlearned gentleman," Sebastian chuckled.

"I'm sure you play beautifully!" Ominis smiled sweetly.

"I really loved spending all my free time with my Grandfather," I smiled at the memories. "My grandmother would have had me in a long dress with many layers and a corset done up tight, sitting in the house sewing. All of it 'needed' to be done in preparation for a fine young man to court me." I laughed at how ridiculous the thought was.

They both laughed. "I'm sure she'd be happy with your choice in suitors," Sebastian teased and looped his thumbs through his suspenders. He had an arrogant look on his face causing me to giggle.

"Most certainly," Ominis scoffed with a smirk.

"She'd probably have a heart attack!" I exclaimed. "Not just at you but at the person I've become." I laughed but there was a sad truth to my statement and as much as I wished it didn't hurt, it did. Knowing how disappointed my grandmother would be in me, not that I ever showed signs that I would be a proper young lady, but it was sad I didn't have her to at least talk to about my life.
