Waking up with Ronnie in my arms was a feeling I knew I would never tire of. She was curled up against my body with her back to my stomach and her long hair falling in her face. I carefully moved the hair from her face and kissed the side of her head lightly.

She moaned sleepily and rolled over to face me. Her heavy eyelids opened revealing her breathtakingly green eyes. She offered me a sleepy smile and I laid on my back, pulling her against me.

"Good morning love," I greeted tiredly.

She nuzzled her face into the side of my neck with a laugh and I melted.

Having to spend the last few days without her had made me feel like I was going insane. The voices in my head only growing louder and more frequent the longer I was away from her. The thought that she could be in danger and that I would be too far away to get to her made it hard to focus on anything else by the end of the week. The shadows even seemed to be more vocal and agitated without her near.

Being able to hold her again, and know she was safe put me at ease in a way that I knew I wasn't going to be able to live without her.

Ronnie swung her leg over me and straddled my waist. She kissed me before sitting upright, settling herself comfortably on top of me.

"Good morning Bash," she smiled down at me. I rested my hands on her hips as she leaned forward and pushed a hand through my hair before kissing me again. Her lips moved against mine, clearing my mind entirely. My grip tightened on her hips and I moved them against mine causing her to moan against my mouth.

"Fuck... I missed you, Ronnie," I groaned as she kissed along my jaw, her hair tickling my bare chest.

I felt her smile against the skin of my neck and she kissed down the side of my neck. Her hands grabbed at my shoulders for support as she pressed her body against mine. I felt her fingernails dig in as she brought her lips nearly to mine. My hands began to trail across her body, under her shirt. The feeling of her skin against mine was like a drug.

"I missed you too Bash," she purred and kissed me hungrily. I had gone completely mad for her and I didn't mind one bit. She had given me all of her and I was completely and utterly enamored by every part.

She pulled away from the mouth with a nip at my bottom lip.

I grabbed the back of her head and held her from sitting up all the way. "Now where do you think you're going?" I questioned with a mischievous grin.

"I promised Natty I'd get ready with her," she told with a teasing laugh. "Did you forget we had the ball tonight?"

"Of course not," I replied flatly. "But you don't get to kiss me like that and then leave."

She moved out of my grip and slid off my lap. "Yes, I do."

I watched greedily as she pulled her pants back on. She was trying to act as if she hadn't just riled herself up as well. I knew she wanted me just as much as I wanted her but she did enjoy toying with me. "I have a surprise for you tonight," she told me with a wicked look in her eye. "Something I picked out from a shop in London."

I sly grin slowly spread across my lips. "You could show me now?" I offered hopefully, rolling on my side. I eyed her with a heat to my gaze filled by unfulfilled desire.

"Nice try 'Bash," she replied with a laugh. She came over and kissed me once more. "I'm excited about tonight. You can tell me all about your week!" And with that I watched her walk out of the room.

...

I mulled over the letter I'd gotten yesterday from Anne with Ominis, who had gotten a similar one, as we walked toward the Gryffindor common room.
