-Ronnie-
I quietly slipped out of my room, despite the fact that all of the other girls in my room went home for the holidays, I still tried my best to be quiet. The common room was eerily lit in the dark of night providing me no relief from my nightmares that had woken me up in the first place. I wandered around until I finally saw Sebastian. He sat on the couch in front of the windows that looked into The Black Lake. His hair was tousled from sleep and he was wearing his pajamas. When he saw me a big smile spread across his face. I crossed the room to him and he pulled me into a hug.
"You okay?" He asked softly in my ear.
"Better now," I laughed and relaxed into the comfort of him holding me.
"Is this the first time you've had a nightmare since the Forbidden Forest?" He asked pulling back so he could look at me but he kept his arms around my waist.
"No... I have them every night still," I admitted.
His face filled with confusion. "The potion isn't working?"
"Not really..." I responded. "It sort of did for a while but not anymore."
"Ronnie..." he said his voice filled with concern as he moved one of his hands to my cheek.
"They have been less intense since the Forbidden Forest though, which has been a relief. I usually can at least go back to sleep," I told him.
"But tonight?" He asked.
I just shrugged, not really wanting to talk about it anymore. This was the third time I'd woken up tonight and while the frequency was greater than normal, I really just could not fall back asleep and wanted to see Sebastian.
"Well I'm glad to hang out with you alone for the first time in like a week," Sebastian commented, changing the subject. Break was almost over. The rest of the students would returning tomorrow and Sunday and then classes would begin again on Monday. I hadn't gotten much time alone with Sebastian since Christmas. We'd been hanging out with Ominis and Natty a lot more, and while it had been fun, it seemed like Ominis didn't want us to be alone.
I moved out of his arms and plopped down on the couch. He laid down on the rest of couch and put his head on my lap. I began playing with his hair and he closed his eyes. We had gotten closer but had not made anything offical. Sebastian hadn't asked me and I wasn't quite sure if I was ready but I had enjoyed everything that had been going on with our 'relationship'.
"Yeah, it has been hard to get you alone," I smiled down at him.
"So that's why you woke me up? You wanted me all to yourself?" He asked in a teasing tone. His eyes remained closed as he smirked.
I rolled my eyes and stared into the Black Lake.
"I can feel you rolling your eyes," he laughed.
"Merlin's Beard, Sebastian..." I laughed and lightly hit his chest. "I didn't roll my eyes," I lied.
He opened his eyes and a wicked grin spread across his face. "You are a liar," he teased.
"I would never lie to you," I feigned offense, placing my hand on my chest.
He sat up and before I realized what was happening he pulled me into his lap so I was straddling him. I felt my cheeks flush as he moved his face closer to mine so our lips were almost touching.
"Now what should I do to teach you not to lie to me," he said in a low voice. My core tightened as his words sparked a fire inside me. He lightly spanked my backside and I yelped in surprise. I covered my mouth remembering that we had to be quiet. It hadn't hurt, if anything it caused me to become more aroused.
