Prompt: If we had a Halloween party in class, what would you want to see? Should we decorate the classroom? How would we do that? What types of food and activities would we have? What costumes would you want to see?

Once upon a time, the students of Mrs. Johnson's fifth-grade class were eagerly anticipating Halloween. They had heard from their friends in other classes that their teachers were planning to throw a spooky party, and they wanted in on the fun.

Mrs. Johnson was known for her creative ideas, and the students were excited to see what she had in store for them. As October rolled around, the classroom began to transform into a Halloween wonderland. The students had volunteered to help decorate the room with spider webs, bats, and jack-o-lanterns. They even bought in some creepy music to set the mood.

As the day of the party approached, the students couldn't wait to see what types of food and activities they would have. They suggested a pumpkin carving contest, a costume parade, and a spooky storytelling session. Mrs. Johnson loved all of their ideas and added a few of her own.

On the day of the party, the students arrived in their most terrifying costumes. There were witches, ghosts, vampires, and even a few superheroes who had decided to join in on the fun. The classroom was decorated with spider webs, fake cobwebs, and spooky lighting.

Mrs. Johnson had prepared a feast of Halloween-themed treats for the students to enjoy. They had mummy hot dogs, pumpkin-shaped cookies, and even a punch that looked like it was filled with spiders. The students were delighted with the food and eagerly dug in.

After the food was finished, it was time for the activities. The students competed in a pumpkin carving contest, and the winner received a big bag of Halloween candy. Then they paraded around the classroom, showing off their costumes and scaring each other with their best spooky voices.

Finally, Mrs. Johnson led the students in a storytelling session. They sat in a circle and took turns telling scary stories they had heard or made up on the spot. The stories were so creepy that some of the students were scared to go home alone.

As the party came to an end, the students couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had. They thanked Mrs. Johnson for organising such a fantastic Halloween party and couldn't wait for the next one. It was definitely a Halloween party to remember.
