Prompt: A child's imaginary friend is not imaginary.
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily. She had an imaginary friend named Max, who she would play with every day. Max was a tall, green, furry creature with big, bright eyes and a friendly smile. He loved to play hide and seek and would always find the best hiding spots.
Everyone around Lily thought Max was just a figment of her imagination, but Lily knew he was real. She could touch him, play with him, and talk to him, just like any other friend.
One day, Lily's parents decided to take her to the zoo. As they were walking, Lily suddenly stopped in her tracks and pointed at a cage. "Look, it's Max!" she exclaimed.
Her parents turned to see a creature that looked exactly like Max, except this one was behind bars. Lily ran to the cage and started talking to Max, and to her surprise, he talked back! He told her that he had been watching her for a long time, and he was happy that she could finally see him too.
Lily's parents were shocked to see that Max was a real creature, and they couldn't believe that their daughter had been able to see him all along. From that day on, Max became a regular part of Lily's life. They would play together at the zoo, and Lily's parents would even take them on adventures to the park and the beach.
As Lily grew older, she never forgot about Max. Even though she couldn't see him anymore, she knew he was always with her, watching over her and keeping her company. And sometimes, when she was feeling lonely or sad, she could still hear his voice in her head, telling her that everything would be okay.
Lily's imaginary friend wasn't imaginary after all. He was a real creature, and he had been her friend all along. Lily knew that she was lucky to have such a special friend, and she would always cherish the memories they had shared together.
