Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Olivia who lived in a cozy house with her parents. Olivia was a sweet and innocent child, who loved to play with her dolls and read fairy tales before bed.
However, one night, something strange happened. Olivia's parents were sound asleep when they heard a soft whisper in their room. They opened their eyes to see their daughter standing in front of them, her eyes closed, and her body stiff as a board. They were quite surprised to see her up at such an odd hour.
"Olivia, dear, what's wrong?" asked her mother, trying to wake her up.
But Olivia simply whispered back, "I'm sorry. The Devil told me to."
Her parents were taken aback by this sudden and sinister statement. They tried to wake her up, but Olivia was in a deep sleep and wouldn't budge. They decided to let her sleepwalk, thinking that she would eventually return to her bed.
To their surprise, Olivia didn't return to her bed that night. Instead, she continued to walk around the house, whispering the same phrase over and over again. Her parents followed her cautiously, keeping a watchful eye, but not daring to wake her up.
Finally, Olivia stopped in front of the front door, and her eyes opened wide. She looked at her parents with a blank expression and then turned the doorknob, ready to open the door.
"Olivia, stop!" yelled her father.
But it was too late. The door opened, and Olivia stepped outside into the cold, dark night.
Her parents quickly followed her, afraid of what might happen to their little girl. They found her standing alone in the middle of the street, staring up at the sky.
"Olivia, come back inside," pleaded her mother.
But Olivia didn't respond. She simply stood there, her eyes fixated on something in the distance.
Eventually, Olivia's parents were able to coax her back inside, and she fell back into a deep sleep. They never did find out what had caused her to sleepwalk and utter those chilling words.
From that night on, Olivia's parents made sure to lock the doors and windows before going to bed, to ensure that their little girl would be safe from any outside influences. And although they never fully understood what had happened that night, they knew that they would do anything to protect their daughter from harm.
