Prompt: Someone is living in your mirror.
Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Sarah who had just moved into a new apartment. She was excited about her new place and spent the first few days unpacking and arranging her things.
One afternoon, as she was getting ready to go out, she noticed something strange in the mirror. It looked as though there was someone standing behind her, but when she turned around, there was no one there.
At first, Sarah dismissed it as her imagination, but the feeling persisted. Every time she looked in the mirror, she felt as though someone was watching her. She started to avoid the mirror and even considered covering I up, but she couldn't shake the feeling that someone was living in it.
One night, unable to sleep, Sarah decided to confront her fear. She stood in front of the mirror and said, "If there's someone in there, show yourself." To her surprise, the reflection in the mirror began to shift and change. A hand appeared, reaching out towards her. Sarah gasped and stumbled back.
The hand retreated, and the reflection returned to normal. Sarah was shaken but curious. She approached the mirror again and said, "Who are you?"
The reflection replied, "I am you, but from another dimension."
Sarah didn't believe it at first, but as the days went by, she found herself talking to the reflection more and more. They would have long conversations about their lives, their hopes, and their fears. Sarah found comfort in the reflection's company and began to look forward to their talks.
One day, Sarah woke up to find that the mirror was gone. She searched the apartment, but it was nowhere to be found. She felt a pang of sadness, realising that she would never be able to talk to her reflection again.
But then, she heard a voice inside her head. It was the voice of her reflection, and it said, "I may be gone from the mirror, but I will always be with you. We are connected, Sarah, in ways that you can't even imagine."
Sarah smiled, knowing that she would never be alone again. Even though the mirror was gone, she had gained a new friend who would always be there for her.
