Prompt: A woman jogging stumbles upon a dead, bloody body - she then hears a strange clicking sound and looks up to see a dark figure running towards her.

As Sarah laced up her running shoes and stepped out into the cool morning hair, she felt invigorated and ready to tackle her usual jogging route. She loved the quiet of the early morning, with only the sound of her own breathing and the rhythmic pounding of her feet on the pavement.

As she rounded a bend in the path, something caught her eye. A large, dark shape lay on the ground ahead of her, and as she grew closer, she realised with horror that it was a person - a man, lying motionless in a pool of blood.

Sarah's heart raced as she tried to process what she was seeing. Was he dead? Had someone attacked him? She felt a wave of nausea as she realised that she had stumbled upon a crime scene.

Suddenly, she heard a strange clicking sound, like the sound of a camera shutter. She looked up and saw a dark figure running towards her, moving quickly and silently through the trees. Fear gripped her as she realised that whoever had killed the man was now coming for her.

Sarah's instincts kicked in and she began to run, sprinting as fast and she could down the path. She could hear the figure getting closer, but she didn't dare look back. She knew that the only chance she had was to keep running and hope that she could outrun whoever was pursuing her.

Finally, she burst out of the trees onto a busy street. She could hear the sound of sirens in the distance, and she realised that someone must have called the police.

As she collapsed on the ground, gasping for breath, Sarah knew that she had narrowly escaped a terrible fate. She had stumbled upon a murder scene, and the killer had come after her. But now, she was safe, and the police were on their way to investigate.

As she sat their waiting for the police to arrive, Sarah couldn't help but think about how lucky she was to have made it out alive. She had never felt so vulnerable, so exposed, and so afraid in her entire life. But she knew that she had done the right thing by running, by fighting back against the darkness that threatened to consume her. And she knew that she would never forget the sound of that strange clicking noise, the sound that had signalled the approach of something terrible, something  she had managed to outrun, but that would haunt her for a long time to come.
