POV: Skylar
"Thank god it's finally over," I sprawl out on my bed.
"Well almost over," Vida points out.
"As long as Darleen's family is gone, and my annoying sister can stop embarrassing me, and I no longer have to look at disgusting Jean, it's over in my book."
Vida laughs.
People finally took the hint and left. Mom and Oli went back to their hotel, I'll meet up with them tomorrow. Mackenzie, Jean, Aunty, and Uncle all went back to Jade's house. They are staying with Jade while they are here. Jade said she'd meet them there, and that she wanted to talk to me.
But Vida beat her to it.
Darleen has been strangely distant ever since Aphrodite and Lexi finally left. Now if only Vida and Jade would leave so I can be alone with Darleen.
"Let's chill out and smoke some," Vida crawls into bed with me.
"Darleen would kill me," I turn my head to look at her.
"So," she smirks.
I smile.
"Skylar we need to talk," Jade opens the door.
"Skylar is busy at the moment, please leave a message at the beep. Beep!" Vida says.
I laugh.
"Ha ha, very funny," Jade rolls her eyes.
"Hey!" Darleen pokes her head into the room.
She and Jade share a hostile look I'm all too familiar with.
Oh brother, what happened now?
I sit up.
"Look guys my social battery is drained dry. I'm pooped," I pout.
"Yeah, she's pooped," Vida wraps her arm around me.
"Uh, she's my girlfriend, this is my house, and you can leave now." Darleen narrows her eyes at Vida.
"Ugh, come on snorleen, live a little." Vida pulls out the blunt.
"Vida," I force her to put it down.
"What!? Not like she hasn't seen us do it before," she mutters.
"You do drugs now?" Jade raises an eyebrow at me.
"Thank you!" Darleen says dramatically.
"See what you did," I frown at Vida.
"What!?" she gets defensive.
"Look it's like not even a big deal," I say to Darleen. "Please I could use a little after today, just to take the edge off and relax a bit." I plead.
"You have to ask permission now," Vida snorts in amusement.
I elbow her hard.
"Ow," she complains.
"Skylar you know how I feel about this," Darleen says.
"Hello!? I was trying to say something!" Jade shouts to get all of our attention.
"Why are you still here?" Darleen asks her in annoyance.
"You are such a party pooper," Vida says.
"You can leave now," Darleen glares at her.
"Will you two cut it out," I sigh.
"I saw Darleen kiss Aphrodite outside!" Jade shouts.
The room goes deathly silent.
"What?" I stand up.
