CHAPTER 73 : BEG ME

Sam always dragged me everywhere whenever I was free

In meetings, in interviews for the new staff, to her dinners with potential clients, to the contractors, designers even to the media.

She was extremely busy lately.
The business permit had been granted, the building was ready and the staff was hired and briefed.

All that was left was for the opening which was scheduled to be next week

It was funny how I suddenly became the co-decision maker without even contributing anything to her business.

Today was the final inspection day.
The furniture came in yesterday and were now placed accordingly.
This is the final day to make adjustments to the overall feel and design of the building and Sam was enthusiastically guiding me to the building until she stopped at her office

Her office looked chic, modern, classy and refined just like her

It had a sofa on both corners, a big table in the middle, a small kitchenette on the left side and a small dinning table on the right.

I also noticed a door beside the kitchenette so I asked her what it was for

Sam just smiled and dragged me to the door before asking me to open it

S: surprise!!!

M: what's this Sam?

S: what else? It's a small studio for us of course

M: are u seriously calling this a small studio?

S: it is small though. It feels cramped to me

M: uh-huh u and ur standards! But why is there a studio in your office Sam?

S: it's soundproof too Mon

M: uh-huh and?

S: well I was thinking if we can't really be ourselves at home, maybe we can do it here :)
We can be as loud as we want to be! I made sure that the soundproofing worked!
The bed is comfortable too and there's even a study table, a sofa, a tv and a bathroom attached.

I did well right MonMon?

M: are u really waiting for me to applaud u Sam?

S: aww u don't like it?

M: it's not that I don't. It's just this is ridiculous!
Name one other person that dared to place a full size studio inside their own office Sam!
this is like a workaholic's paradise!

S: I didn't create this for work though

M: I know what u did it for and that's even more crazy!

S: can't I?

M: how soundproof are the walls?

S: 99% soundproof. I made sure myself! I only used the best materials too

M: why isn't it 100% then

S: coz i'm hoping your screams could break that 1%

M: haaah who's screaming?

I remembered u screaming and groaning pretty loudly that night

S: uhmmm...wanna try the bed?

M: will I be in control today?

S: No!!!! U told me it was my turn next!!!

M: did I?

S: yes you did!!!
