When we had finally both calmed down, we tidied ourselves, tried to salvage how we both looked and went back to my friends
We came hand in hand. Smiling wide. Enjoying our new found peace.
M: i'm sorry guys. Sam and I needed to talk
B: it's all good Mon!
Do u want to re-do the introduction?
M: yeah thanks guys!
This is Sam my girlfriend

(They then followed by introducing themselves one by one with a big smile on their faces and to that Sam just nodded and ignored them)
S: uhmmm i'm sorry about her guys
L: it's fine we already kinda expected it from how she's dressed lol girl boss vibe much?

You stick out like a sore thumb though hahaha
M: uhmm Sam u have some spare clothes right?
S: What's wrong with what i'm wearing now?
M: uhmm well everybody's staring
S: let them... i'm used to it
M: well I'm not!
I don't like it when people stare at you too Sam!
S: they're staring at you too Mon! what is that you're wearing?
(She smiled but her smile was scary)
M: uhmm casual wear?
S: it's showing too much skin Mon. I don't like the way people are looking at you
M: we're at the beach Sam, what do u expect me to wear?
S: if it's just me, nothing would be good but here, a vest would be great
M: a vest? At the beach?
Your fashion sense never fails to impress me Sam
S: Or I can just hire someone to hold a reflector around you so people would go blind if they don't stop staring!
M: lol a reflector? Ahahhaha that's new! I'd love to see that hahahha
S: I was being serious Mon
M: uhmmm... Hahahah (trying my best to contain my laugh) where did u see anyone staring? Let me face the other way so u can stop sulking 😂
(She then glared at the gang)
S: they're staring!
(She did a 360 and glared at everybody too)
S: everybody's staring!
M: lol you're imagining things too much Sam. If anybody's getting stared at it's u
(I then directed her attention to everybody else who was obviously gawking at her)
S: well as i've before i'm used to it
M: and people can stare at u but can't stare at me right?
S: right!
M: u want to start?
S: you're the one who started! U lied to me!
(That sentence said it all.
I knew it. What I have done had left a deep imprint in Sam.
I have a long way to go to gain her trust back Mon
I felt a sudden pang in my chest, knowing I did this and knowing how much I have to work to gain her trust back
When she saw my reaction, she immediately reached out for my hand, trying to apologize)
