MOM and dad took me and Luka to a very fancy restaurant. "Jesus, what's up with the fancy stuff?" I asked as we all took our seats at a table.
Mom and dad laughed lightly-"well, since we won't see each other for a whole week, I thought that we all deserved a nice night out, as a family." Mom smiled.
I smiled-"sounds good too me." Luka smirked. We all laughed-"so, Mika invited you to stay at a cabin for a whole week? Tell me more about that. It sounds too good to be true." Dad said-speaking to Luka.
"Well, me and Mika actually kept talking after our trip two years ago..." Luka and dad started talking all about Mika and the trip while I just looked at the menu-zoning out.
A whole week with Lexi and Milo. Me and Lexi usual hang out twenty four seven. But Milo...a whole week, seeing him over and over again?
I feel like something's going to happen-I feel my stomach knotting just thinking about it.
"So how many rooms are in the cabin?" Mom asked Luka. "Two, I'll be sharing a room with Lexi and Milo and Luna will share a room." My eyes widened at Lukas words.
Shit.
I didn't think this threw.
I'm the one that came up with the idea of Luka and Lexi sharing a room. But I didn't think the part of me and Milo sharing a room.
Damnit.
"There's two beds in each room so it's fine." Luka said. I looked at him, a weight lifting off my shoulders. "Thank god.." I whispered, looking back down at the menu.
"But anyway, enough about our week. What about y'all? A hotel? How is that a trip?" Luka laughed. I laugh as well, looking at my mom. "Yeh, how is going to a hotel with Milo's parents, a trip." I asked.
"Well, this hotel just opened up. There is a pool and all sorts of things for us too do. And there's places around the hotel where we can spend our time." Mom said.
"Sounds boring." I say. She laughed, rolling her eyes playfully. "Hello, welcome to XXX diner, what can I get started for you?" The waiter spoke, pulling out a notepad and a pen.
We all started ordering what we desired. The waiter left and we all started talking once again.
"I'm surprised you guys are letting us skip school for a whole week." I say, crossing my arms and leaning back into my seat. Mom looked at me, smiling. "You work so hard on your studies. So does your brother. You both deserve a break." She said.
