〖Third Person P.o.v〗

The drive home was quiet. Dovahkiin drove everyone, not bothering to ask them any questions. Everyone had a long day, and now their friend was recovering in the hospital.

"Thanks for the ride," Craig was the last one they dropped off since he lived closest to them.

"Don't mention it, thanks for telling me where (Y/n) was," Dovahkiin told Craig. He merely nodded, before retreating into his house.

The moment Dovahkiin and (Y/n) were alone, he looked at her. She was staring emptily ahead on the road. She seemed quiet and calm on the outside, but being her twin, he could read her thoughts. He knew she was feeling guilt, sorrow, and anxiety.

"It's all my fault Dovahkiin," She said emptily.

"It's not," He said, before driving off toward their house.

"You don't even know what happened, how can you say that?!" She asked him.

"Nothings ever your fault (Y/n), you would never try to deliberately hurt someone, you're too kind," He said to her.

"You're just saying that cuz you're my brother," She said through tears. As soon as they were parked, (Y/n) and Dovahkiin got out of the car. Standing outside of their car, (Y/n), stood there and sobbed into her arms. Without a word, Dovahkiin picked her up with ease, bringing her into the house. All the lights were turned off, meaning their parents were probably working overtime. Kicking off his shoes, he went upstairs, bringing her to his room. He sat her down on his bed, and took her shoes off, throwing them in the corner. He laid back on his own bed, and opened his arms to her,

"Cmere," He said comfortingly.

Immediately, she threw herself into his arms and started sobbing loudly into his chest. He held his younger sister protectively and allowed her to vent to him.

"I hit Clyde! I was driving, and he just ran in front of my car! I- I couldn't break early enough!"

"There's got to be more than that," Dovahkiin reasoned.

" Tweek and I were in the car, and I confessed to him that I liked him, and we were going to kiss until Clyde threw the chocolates he wanted to give me at my car! A-After that, he just took off, and we chased after him... I didn't think he would try to run in front of my car, but he did...! And then I hit him, and now... " (Y/n) broke down into sobs.

"There you go, it's not your fault (Y/n)," He said.

"Did you not hear what I said?! I hit him!" She fired back, as tears streamed down her  face.

"He should've known better, and it's not like you hit him all that hard, there aren't any damages on the car," Dovahkiin said blankly.

(Y/n) groaned at how unsympathetic he was, before falling limp into his arms. She knew how stubborn her brother was, so she decided not to say anything more.

"Don't worry about it too much, the doctor said he was making a full recovery anyway. There's no going back, so the best you can do now as his friend is just there for him. Maybe when he wakes up, you can make it up to him or something,"

She pulled away from his chest and looked at him, "For being an unemotional guy, that's got to be the most sympathetic advice you've ever given me,"

He chuckled before ruffling her hair, "Go take a shower and get in your pjs, we should get to bed, it's a school night,"

"Can I sleep with you?" She asked.

"Yeah, but Mom and Dad are probably gonna make the worst assumptions in the morning," He replied.
