So since Home was approaching, I wanted to learn how to wander the mindscape. I reached out to Cyn hoping she'd pick up. It was strange, despite knowing what she was like, I actually kinda missed her.

"Thank you, little brother. I have been busy with something, but I am here now."

"Great to hear from you again!"

"Nod of agreement. Same. What happened with Doll?"

"How'd you find out we had a bit of a disagreement?"

"Shrug. I didn't, just that you two talked about important stuff."

"Oh. Well I told her about our deal, considering she's a part of it. She wasn't exactly... thrilled."

"Judging by your tone, it sounds like that's an understatement."

"Yeah kind of, she seriously scolded me. Actually made me tear up a bit."

"Awwww...wish I was there to give you a hug."

"Same. Anyways...long story short Doll felt sorry, I showed her some other stuff, she thought I was crazy, and went back with Tessa and J. She thought that they could help, something about getting a weapon against you. Probably important for you to know."

"Giggle. Don't worry, they're no threat to me."

"If you say so, just don't underestimate them."

"Don't worry, I know exactly what I'm doing."

"Alright if you say so. You know, I have a question relating to the Solver."

"Curious. What is it?"

"How do you access another drone's mind? And I don't mean just hack them to make them hallucinate, I can do that already. I mean full on enter their head and have access to their memories and mind?"

"Giggle. Don't worry, it's not hard at all! Just get some test subjects, then we can get started!"

I did some random kidnappings, you know, just unnamed characters. Though for the hundredth time I wondered exactly how big the population was for so many deaths to occur and for me not to notice a difference in the number of drones. Eh, whatever. Cue my first attempt annnnnnnnd their head exploded.

"Remember. You're trying to enter their mind, not attack them."

"Ok, ok! Any actual helpful tips?"

"First try to insert your memories into their head. Then while you have access to their mind, try to enter the memory."

I did what she said, I went with my memory of prom. Nameless 2's visor glitched and I took my chance. My surroundings went to static and I was back at prom in my disguise.

"What the hell? Why am I back here?" Nameless 2 said.

To test what I could do, I made N, Doll, and Uzi stop fighting and turn their attention towards her.

"Doll? Murder Drone? Purple Girl? Why you staring at me like that?"she said.

I imagined them killing her. I didn't say or do anything, and the memory versions of them lunged and attacked. I wanted to see what was happening in the real world, I tried to leave but found out I was stuck.

"Uh, Cyn? If you can hear me, a little help? I can't exit."

"Sigh, at least you made progress."

Cue more glitches and I was back out, Nameless 2 was panicking and violently thrashing. So I could leave the mindscape while keeping my victim trapped inside? Good to know.

"Alright, I'm gonna go a step further and try to access their memories this time. You know, go even deeper into their minds. See what I can access and do."

"I believe in you. Just try to leave on your own this time."

I did the memory thing again, this time using the memory of me fighting Eldritch J.

"HOLY SHIT!!!!" Nameless 3 yelled at seeing the 2 horrors, paralyzed with fear.

I ran up to him to snap him out of it and told him to follow me, we ran away.

"WHERE DO YOU LIVE!? WE CAN HIDE THERE!!!" I yelled.

He told me and that was enough. Him remembering the location was enough for me to access his memories. Doing that showed me how to access someone else's memories. We suddenly went from the hallway running to his home.

"What was that?" Nameless 3 asked.

"Hello, where have you been?" a female drone walked in.

"Mom?" Nameless 3 asked.

Good, good. He was reliving a memory. So let's see what I got down. Entering someone's head, manipulating the mindscape, accessing other's memories. What was left on my to do list was controlling drones like Cyn, actually alter the memories of a drone like she did with N, and also figuring out how to exit this damn place. But first...

"Mom? What's wrong? Why are you twitching like that?" Nameless 3 asked.

His mom went still, then sprouted extra limbs and her head splitting in half to reveal razor sharp teeth. Nameless 3 ran out screaming as his 'mom' chased after him.

"While that goes on, let's get outta here."

I focused and focused on one single thought. Out.

"Congratulations! You managed to exit on your own!"

"Thanks. Still need a little practice with it though to do it automatically without focus."

"That's ok. Any questions?"

"Could I control drones by messing with their minds or alter their memories?"

"Head shake. No. That's a bit above you. Only I'm capable of doing so."

"Aw man!"

"Don't worry, look at what you can already do."

Both Nameless 2 and 3 had "Panic Mode: Active. Chances of Trauma: High" on their visors.

"Ok. Yeah. That's good, I'm happy with that. Though I'll still practice."

"I'll help. I have a sneaky, sneaky plan that I will enact and you are welcome along. It should help you with your skills."

"So what made you so attached to me so quickly?"

"It was nice to meet someone else with just as much love for destruction, death, and violence. Plus accepting the power of the Solver despite knowing the possible consequences. No other host has done that. Smile."

"I had a thought, and be honest. Were you originally trying to emotionally manipulate me but eventually grew genuinely attached to me?"

"..........No comment......."
