Y/n twitched slightly in their sleep, causing Sodo to wake up. Still, it was nothing as bad as the last two nights.

The first sunbeams of the day shone through the blinds into the room, drowning the furniture in a bit of an orange light. It looked beautiful to him and he loved that he won the argument with Swiss about who can have this room on the east side of the church.

Sodo gently rubbed the back of his loved one to wake them up. He hated seeing them having nightmares and if he could choose to switch dreams, he would.

"Y/n" the ghoul whispered as he saw them furrowing their eyebrows and pressing their eye lids together.

"hey, love" he said a little louder and chuckled as y/n mumbled something along the line "shut the fuck up" and yawned.

"Good morning, my love" Sodo mumbled and kissed their cheek, "rise and shine"

"rise and shine, my ass" y/n grumbled and took a deep breath in before slowly opening the heavy eyelids.

"well someone is in a mood today" the ghoul laughed and smirked a little, "how'd you sleep?" he asked and got a little more serious.

"better than the last nights. Way better actually. Maybe I should always drink a few shots before going to bed" they chuckled and looked around the room, "what time is it?"

"uhh about eight a clock, I think" Sodo answered and turned around to look for his phone, "yup, 8:12 am" he confirmed after unlocking his phone.

"when's breakfast?"

"anytime you want, my love. We can go to the kitchen and make something, if you want" the ghoul suggested and sat up straight, rubbing his eyes.

Even thought the sun lit up the room a little it was still dark, due to the blinds being shut. This made it even harder to stay awake.

Y/n yawned again and let out a small "yes please"

"what would you like? Bread? Eggs? Pancakes? I can cook anything you need" he asked, smiling. "I could also make you hot cocoa and bring it to you in bed if you want."

"I think pancakes would be good" they sighed and rubbed their eyes. "do you wand me to come with you and help?"

"Oh, no, don't worry about it" Sodo spoke while gently rubbing their back. The ghoul stood up and grabbed the door handle, "i'll bring it up as soon as they're done. Do you need anything else?" he asked gently as he started to walk out.

"you" y/n answered and chuckled a little.

"I am already yours, my love" Sodo teased with a wink and slowly closed the door.

He didn't expect anyone to be in the kitchen at this time of the day because it was quite early in the morning so he was even more surprised as he walked in on Laura and Nik chatting.

"Good morning?" Sodo said a little confused.

"good morning, since when are you an early bird?" the girl asked with a smile on her lips.

"I'm just doing my job as loyal soon to be boyfriend, I guess. Y/n is hungry" he answered and opened a drawer to pick out a pan.

"Soon to be boyfriend?" Nik spoke with a wide grin on his lips, "do you plan on asking them?"

"Don't know yet. I love the relationship we have at the moment and I'm scared that it will change if I ask them- who the fuck even says I have to be the one to ask?" the ghoul turned around to his two friends with the flour in his hand.

Nik just shrugged and took a sip of his coffee, "I don't know if y/n will if you don't. They've never been in a serious relationship cause they never really felt attracted to someone.. until you came. I've never seen them like the day you two walked into our classroom. Suddenly you're the number one topic for y/n, Sodo. They couldn't stop rambling about you, its crazy. Like someone changed something in their brain." He told the ghoul who stopped mixing the ingredients in a bowl to listen to him.
