"I'm just too preoccupied with basketball right now," says Kiefer Ravena, who will lead the Gilas Cadets into the SEA Games basketball tournament

"I'm just too preoccupied with basketball right now," the fifth-year Ateneo player Ravena told Rappler in a text message. "Since it's gonna be a crucial year for me - that's just the reason why we're on a break."

There has been many speculation on social media on Friday about the situation of the two popular collegiate athletes, which, according to Ravena, has included angry sentiments from some fans.

"I guess people assume too much and take a hit on my friends or even common friends," he said. "But they are entitled to whatever they say or think about."

The source said that Reyes, an incoming fifth-year veteran for the DLSU Lady Spikers in the UAAP women's volleyball tourney, and Ravena remain on good terms.

Reyes' Lady Spikers, who won 3 straight UAAP titles from 2011-2013, have fallen to the Ateneo Lady Eagles in each of the past two women's volleyball finals.

as i read this article naghalo halo ang nararamdaman ko,saya for privacy for us pansamantala but takot din coz i know kiefer will be bash because of this.
